Good Morning from the soon to be snowy 45th,

An arctic blast is heading my way, should come through late this aftenoon with more snow, winds and below zero wind chills. Doesn't that make those of you who are heading to or already in FL, glad to be doing that :) Anybody who has yet to get on the road had better follow their instinct and do it, cause this front is heading all the way south.

So this morning I will be out with the snow blower, clearing out my drive and my neighbors from the 4 inches or so of snow we got these past couple of days, before the new dump arrives. My nice neighbor across the road from me, who has been blowing out the neighbors drive will be leaving for FL on Tuesday, so I will take over those chores again. They certainly deserve this trip as due to her health conditins, they have not been able to stray very far from home these past couple of years. Now as double lung transplant patient, she is doing well and able to travel again. They are heading south with the doctors blessing.

I see that Tina is making progress south, Wemdy and Sarah have yet to hit the road. Carolb is enjoying her time in FL meeting new faces and enjoying old friends and family. In another week the GTG will be starting and we will all be on here with perked ears waiting for someone to "tell it all" of what's going on down there. The good, the bad the ugly etc. And of course we are going to want pictures.

Well, daylight is starting to show here, so must get moving. Want to crank up that blower as soon as it's light enough out there so I can get done and go refill my gas can for the next round of snowblowing to come.

Wiahingng all of you a wonderful, safe and enjoyable day.

Good Morning All,
Soos, Love the case with keyboard for your tablet. It should make typing much easier. Weather here has improved and promises to be nice and warm this weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning, Sue and all those who follow.....Feeling pretty good this morning....got a good night's sleep with the help of the blue pill (Tylenol PM).... ;) Spinner & I took the morning walk to clear skies. Normal GA winter weather slated for the next week...highs in the low 70s -high 60s.....so things are looking good... ;)

I, too, see that the gals are gathering in FL for the annual Jan. GTG.....travel and land safely, please....and so just to let you know, the "Bail Fund' is still at $159.00 ;) Next year, we'll be there.... ;)

Speaking of GTGs, the AZ one starts today....I gathered that the food will be ready at 2PM....Don't forget those pictures, please... ;) :D

Update on Spinner's itching issue....thanks to Tina's FB post about Beneful Dog food....we decided that's what was making him itch, a food allergy, plus my cousin, Kris, who fosters/rescues dogs, who pointed out that white dogs tend to have more allergies to food, especially if the food has colored pieces. So Spinner is now back on his Pedigree (which has brown pieces only) and a half of a Benedryl tab. twice a day until tomorrow.... he is now so much better.... ;) :D

Okay, coffee's fresh and scones are warm....Have a great day, all...

Good morning all,

Looks like today is a traveling day for many - Sarah, please be careful. I'll be praying that you stay on the road rather than drifting into mud & for smooth sailing the rest of the way. You've shown the patience & faith of Job - hopefully I can learn both from you. I'll be thinking & praying for everyone on the move today - hopefully you can enjoy the journey as you safely move to the fun awaiting you at the end of today's (or tomorrow's) road. :D

Red, glad the sun is shining & it looks like it will be nice for the Q GTG. Hope to see pics posted so we can all join in the fun. :)

Sue, Looks like you've got your work cut out for you today & the next day & the next day... with that snow blower ;)

Barbie, I do hope you change your dad's phone number - unless he has given them his address too... then you might have a bigger problem. I agree, I don't know how people can do that to others.

Soos, thanks for posting pics of your tablet case... makes me consider the possiblity of a tablet in the future...

Donna, I love your blogs - thanks for letting us know when you update them (I don't think to look unless you mention it)

Lori, good to hear that the finger is healing & you've found a solution for Spinner's itching... Is that bail fund enough to cover both GTG's though? just wondering

Well, I'd better get moving - already had my coffee but need to get laundry going & get some outside stuff done today - watering the foundation & washing the car before we drop back into the deep freeze... :(

Hope if you're ailing you feel better soon, if you're traveling winds are still & roads are dry & if you're at home there are enough pics posted that we can join in the fun.
Later...

Good morning ladies
oh lordy, the day has finally arrived, I get to really go somewhere, even if it is just for the day, its gonna be fun and I'll get to meet more sisters.
I had hoped to get on the road by 8 but thats not gonna happen, I still have to wash my hair. Have the heater turned on in the bathroom getting
it warmed up as all that tile makes it too cold in there to think about getting wet. And then of course there is that decision to make as to what
shirt to wear  like thats never happened before  The weather is suppose to be really really nice but I will pack accordingly for weather
changes.
Gotta remember to grab a folding chair and toss it in my car, the girls are fed and back to bed, they will be fine on their own today just like when
I go to work. Camera and batteries already in my purse
Coffee is ready and saw some bananas that will suit me for breakfast.
Gotta get my directions written down from the gtg thread , oh gosh, lots to do yet. Catch ya'll later, have a great day and be safe.

Good morning everyone, it is chilly this AM at 36. But will be up to 70 this afternoon for our gtg. DH and I drove down to Yuma yesterday and went to the old prison and museum. Stopped by the BLM area to see if we could find our friends. Had to call Sahron and have her guide us in through the maze  Briefly met Sharon, Beth, Anita and Sandi. Forgot to take a picture but definitely will today at the gtg. DH and I went over and walked through just a tiny section of the sell o Rama. Like a giant flea market. I wanted to go back over and visit last night and visit with the gals, but DH put the Carryout satellite dish on the truck bed :?

Everyone have a great day. Stay warm and stay safe if you are on the road. Aloha y'all

Hurrah! Today is the third day in a row that I've gotten up and not needed pain pills! Whoop! Time to go dancing! :D

Well, metaphorically dancing, anyway. ;) It looks like this will be the last day of good weather here for a while, so The William and I will be walking, at least.

Good morning gals! So excited to hear about the Q GTG later today! Hope there are lots of pics! Hope Sarah can get outta Dodge and head south today towards the FL GTG!

It is 35 degrees right now, until noon, when the arctic blast sweeps thru here. Then the temps plummet to just below zero later with very high winds! (The snow is all north of us heading towards Michigan and Sue's area.) So I need to get out and get a few things done before noon while it is still relatively warm and calm.

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone!

Kathleen, glad your daughter is doing well.

Louise, Woohoo for a pain free day.

Cannot wait to hear all about the AZ GTG today.

I am really enjoying this warmer weather in FL. Going to take the dogs for a walk later after I get my housework done. I am hoping to be able to open all my windows today and let the fresh air through. Sure hope Sarah and Wendy are able to get on the road today heading south. We are in a really nice park for a few days. I get the feeling most of these people know each other well and stay here regularly. Well, better get my rear in gear and get started on my housework.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Kathleen, maybe try several small meals throughout the day as that is supposed to increase you metabolism more than skipping meals. I wish you luck!

Excited to see pics from the Q gtg! Woo hoo!

Found out the big rv show is next month here and I'm going, determined to find a smaller rig to downsize to so that I can get out there more often. Still have four years of high school to get thru with the gd, but I'm thinking if I get something smaller I will be better able to take off on the weekends more often. Especially the every other one that she is with her mom. That way if she doesn't want to come along, I can still pack the cats and go! And once she has headed off to college, I will really get out there. Almost lost the dream this summer. Not sure why even, but I'm trying to rekindle it as I go.

Okay, I have chores to do..but I'll be checking back for pictures!

Sarah and Wendy, sure hope the weather gods are smiling upon you today so that you can get to Florida! Wish I could be there too! Will be looking forward to pictures from there too!
