Good Morning from the soggy 45th,
It has been raining since Friday night and needless to say, we are soaked. And more rain for today and even looks like tomorrow may be showers too. Good thing it's not snow, or we would be buried by now. Hoope all those in the areas where the storms moved through and are still moving through, haven't had any really bad weathet so to speak.
So, where's everybody this morning. Rain got you drowned out? Or is it one of those days to just snuggle up in bed a bit longer and then not get moving too swift this morning?
Spent all day yesterday working on some Fall signs and actually accomplished nothing. Ran into some experiements that didn't go the way I wanted, so started all over again. Kind of taking one step forward and two backward. So today will start over. Did sit down on the computer and went through all my financial stuff for my meeting with my fiancial advisor on Tuesday. But never did get to the election research yet. Maybe later today.
Anyway, just checking in here. Been reading through the Moring coffee from yesterday and sound like everybody's busy getting things ready for trips south or to GTG's etc. Ava is starting to work on her "home on wheels" slow but sure. That's exciting cause it means that before she knows it, she will be back aboard again. Kind of makes me wish I was getting ready to do something, but all in good time.
Everybody have a great Sunday. Be safe.

Good Morning Sue and all!
It's rainy, grey, and cold here, too, at 43 degrees. At least there is no ice out there today like there was yesterday morning.
My daughter just called me and said that Joe is on his way back to their house, so I guess I need to really get hitched up here now and pull out myself. I just wish it was a nicer day to try to hitch and haul!
I guess I will be back at my daughter's driveway tonight, if I can muster up up the wherewithall to get motivated and get on out. I can't remember, but I don't think I have wifi in the trailer there, but will be able to get online inside her house at least a couple of times a day.
Hope you all will find something fun to do today, and I will try to check in later when I land again.

It is cloudy, overcast, thunder and lightening. No rain yet, but drizzle. My heart is as heavy as the threatening skies. I just received news that my cousin, 75, was rushed to Stanford Medical Center and is the ICU and not expected to make it. When Dick was born he had a small hole in his heart and the family was told he wouldn't live. But he grew up strong and excelled. I was a little pest to him. My dad died when I was just 5 and I went to live with my aunt and cousins for a couple years. Like my big brother. He was a big guy in high school then and getting ready to start college at USC. He always spent time teching me math, science, the love of just being alive. I will never forget how proud I was at his college graduation. I vowed I would go to USC also (and I did) He was suppose to start law school, but they had a new procedure called open heart surgery that was finally going to close that whole in his heart. So he became one of the first open heart surgery patients. It worked and he lead a wonderful life, got married, had kids, grand kids, was a prolific journalist and newspaper owner. 10 years ago he suffered an aortic aneurism (heart artery) and recovered from that as well. His beloved wife of 40 years died suddenly this time last year. Now, just as suddenly he is going to join her. Another aortic aneurism. I will miss him so much. I know he will always be with me. He was always such and inspiration for me and his life will continue through his example of love and perseverance. It is now pouring rain, as are my tears.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!
WOOWHEEEE! I' m finally back in. Good grief, I posted the other day and that was it for me. After I clicked over to something else I could not get back in. I tried and tried and nothing! It kept telling me that Firefox could not establish a connection to the site. I tried restarting and shuting down more than once. Thinking about it last eve the only thing I could think of or remember was that my laptop did an automatic windows update thing. So finally I did a system restore back to Oct 10 and that didn't help so did another one last night going back a week. Now this morning I can get in. Grrrrrrrr Dang blasted updates!!!!
Weather here this weekend has been beautiful! Nice sunny warm days and cool nights. There has been a couple of nights that we have turned on our small space heater on low for a bit to take the chill off the RV. But for the most part we have been very comfortable. Ya just know that fall is in the air even tho there is very little color here in our neighborhood.
Son, girlfriend and grandson are down this weekend, they got here last night a little after 9:30pm. We had an inprompto picnic. Son built our second campfire of the season and then he made Smores. I have no idea what will we will be doing today except that he had me buy tickets to Dixie Stampede for the 6pm show. I am so looking forward to that as I have wanted to go for a long time!!!
Boy talk about saving money on those tickets cause I'm an employee at the park. Bought 3 adult tickets for $31.49, Conner is under 3 and if he sits on a lap we are not charged for a seat. If I had had to pay full price it would have been $149 and change.
I really want to go to Cherokee to see the play called "Unto these hills" that the Cherokee put on. But now I have to really wonder about the cost of getting into it!!!
OK, enough. Haven't read any of the postings so I have no idea what has been going on with all ya'll. Probably wont get the chance to either until sometime tonight or tomorrow. I hope that everybodys doing good and that nothing bad is going on! Hope you'v all been having fun and staying safe!!!! And will do that today also!!
Love to all
Well before I could post this 2 more Sistahs posted. Chris, I am so sorry to hear about your cousin! Will say some extra prayers for him and you!!! Hold tight and stay strong Sis.

good morning ladies
I've been up for awhile now but been busy dream shopping
but figured it was time to check in here and I really need to think about
getting dressed and getting on with the day. Got the car halfway cleaned out yesterday, front is all cleaned and dusted, and today I'll
start in on the back. It still has stuff in there from when I helped daughter do her move. Need to get that all out and then I can get the
vacuam out and do the entire car. Whatever else I do today will be a spur of the moment thing cause I have no other plans. Well, I take
that back, I'm gonna have to mop the tile in my room now as I've just discovered some little dog has a little "D" Its most likely Gracie as
she snacked on some cheese crackers with me last night. Guess we won't do that again. Its all on her pad but there are some footprints
on the tile.
So glad its not carpet.
Off to get dressed and get the mop bucket out. Catch ya all later. Have a great day and hope you have good weather.

Red, I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. My heart goes out to you. I will be praying for you and your family. It seems we have all had so much loss and sickness this year. I was glad to read how your cousin beat the odds so many times in his life and that he did get to have a long full life. I know he will always be with you and you will see him again.
Spent the day yesterday looking for a place to stay the week before the TX GTG. Have found a CG right off 281 in Burnet. The new owner was the lady I talked to yesterday and she was very nice and helpful to deal with. It is a small park from what I gather and she sounded very excited we were going to spend a week. She said we would be able to put up the dog's pen. That will make it much easier for us and them. They have done well having to be on leashes when outside, but I know they prefer not to be on leash.
We had a lot of rain and wind last night according to the news but I slept right through it. Did have to go get my outdoor furniture that had been blown next door, but today is really pretty out. Am sitting outside with the dogs enjoying the sun and the light breeze today. I think I am going to make a seafood chowder for supper tonight. Think I will get the bread maker out of the bin and make a loaf of bread to go with it. Sure sounds good to me.
Hope everyone has a blessed day today and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Oh, Red, I am so sorry for your loss!
And I am so happy that you had such a wonderful 'big brother' in your life.
It's so hard when they leave. Hang in there.

Red - my prayers to you and your cousin's family. Spending last weekend with a bunch of my cousins has strengthened my belief that I have been blessed with my mom's family and that they are all important to me.
Been working on some scrapping pages. I'm on 3 different creative teams, so for the price of the kits, I'm required to post so many layouts a month. Because of all my plans at the end of the month, starting next weekend, I'm trying to get as much work for October done this weekend as possible.
