COLD BUT SUNNY SUNDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!
It's only 44 outside this morning, but the sun is coming out as the low-lying clouds are being swept away by some steady, rather heavy, winds.
Yesterday I decided to go to Chazy Landing and visit Mema, her sister who sort of watches over her, Mandy, and Orion. The weather was too iffy to be able to work outside, and any reason to avoid more house destuffing overtook me! I also stopped at Walmart to get more dog food, some potty deodorant stuff, a huge tarp to cover the paddleboat (after I scrub it) for the winter. I actually found some gas not too far from her house for 4.09 per gallon! That's a savings of about 40 cents per gallon compared to the price here in Saranac Lake.....unless all gas has come down in the past few days. (Of course, I spent mega bucks just to get to that gas station and my visit!)
I also stopped at the RV dealer and made an appointment to get my trailer inspected on the day the bluegrass festival opens, and now I am committed to going to that. My appointment is for 8:00, so Issy and I will be leaving here shortly after 6:30 am that day. Richard will meet us at the RV place, and we will go to the festival together.
Today I will attempt to back the old trailer into the shelter for the winter, as it appears that Joe is not going to take his stuff from the shelter until heaven-knows-when. I will need to change my ball on the truck from the large one to the smaller one, and then spend some frustrating time trying to back the thing in!
Tomorrow I reconnect with my old doctor to see if I can cut back on the dosages of all 3 of my meds, as it seems that no matter how strong the doses of anti-high-blood pressure and anti-high-cholesterol meds I take, they remain static and high. I am sure he will also need another blood analysis test to see just what those levels are, as well as blood pressure checks. I worry about liver damage from the statin Lipitor I am taking----not sure what the ill effects from the blood pressure might be, but will ask him.
In the meantime, I hear the old trailer calling me to park it, and the tractor is begging to be started to finish brush-hogging the fields in the back.
Hope everyone has a good day and that you all find something fun to do to keep your body happy and alive!
