Good morning !!! Supposed to be a good weather day here today, hoping Ambition will be knocking here soon, so far he hasn't shown up to much lately.
Everyone else seems to keep him well occupied though, wow at all the things that have been done. I don't seem to be able to get as much done as I hope each day  some of it is due to the fact, I just don't want to be here.

I have no real news, just waiting for time to go by, until I can leave and getting through all the things that need to be done before that time gets here. I have dropped into the morning area a couple of times this morning and thought maybe it was a morning that everyone was waiting for the other person to open the door. Coffee is about gone here and breakfast was some time ago, but I could find something if you're still hungry :D

Wishing there was some fun things planned in this household, but Not, sure hope the rest of you are lucky and have an agenda for the day that will bring you much pleasure.

Stay safe , but enjoy your day !!

CArol :)

I'm technically "up", but still sleeping  Tyler always gets me up bout 6:30 am to be let out, then wants to eat. So, I bump into the walls trying to mix his food and fill his water dish, eyes half shut, hoping to go back to bed. But by the time I get everything done, I'm too awake to go back to bed and my stomach starts to growl :x So it is time to break the fast and figure out what I want to make to satisfy my tummy. Then the craving for coffee....so glad they (whoever "they" are) have decided that it's actually good to have a cup of coffee :D

My DH survived the fall without major injury...just sore... :D We stopped at Hoiday World and Camping World yesterday. They are just 1/2 mile apart on the same highway. DH actually fits in the drivers seat of the newer Winnebago View/ Navion. But not the Via/Reyo. On the Reyo, with the slide closed, the drivers seat was too close to the steering wheel and he could not fit. However, the View and Navion fit. With the drivers seat all the way back, there was still 5 inches between it and the closed slide. Next step is to drive the View. We just might be getting closer :D

I hope Mr Ambition visits me today as well. It is so beautiful outside and then I go outside and I'm sweating before I can come back inside. I guess I'm just a pansy. I don't think I'll ever get used to this heat. I've lived my whole live where you spend most your time outdoors doing stuff all year round. I am dreaming about the day I can move (as in drive to with my turtle) to the ideal climate at my choosing :D

Wishing you all a great day and stay safe.

Red - you lightweight! LOL!!! The way you handle this heat is simple - A/C!!! Just remember January and February when we can still wear shorts some days!

A/C on the truck is fixed. Yay!

DBF probably won't be working Labor Day weekend so I need to decide pretty soon if we want to do the LA impromptu GTG. It would be fun. I may be too late since I haven't checked to see if the park still has some openings.

good morning,
been up since 4:30 but could not get on the internet for until just now. Don't know what the problem was, my computer checked out ok and so did my wifi. Everything said all was working correctly, but obviously it wasn't. Couldn't imagine the whole world internet being down, thinking a satellite or something
malfunctioned and I was beginning to go into panic mode. Had run all kinds of diagnostics and finally just decided to do a system restore and now its all
working. So, whatever, I'm FINALLY here.
Big chore for today...Phoenix has little critters called roof rats, they are quite healthy boogers too as they live on the citrus trees. Seems one decided to
come in the back door and look around. It really has a sweet tooth as it keeps going after all the sweet stuff. (there were 3 episodes this week of evidence
of our visitor) One episode was visual up on my shelf in the hallway and that little booger got into my bag of 3-2-1 cake mix. The time before was my bag
of cookies and the other time it got into sons kitchen and found the loaf of bread. SO...........................cleaning off all my shelves in the hallway making
sure there was nothing left behind and will put all the dog food and treats in a bin before it decides it likes dog kibble. In the meantime son put a big trap
up there on the second shelf. Two out of the three visits were daytime visits. So now son and workers have decided it was a better idea to keep the door
shut. (duh)
Laundry is done already so having another cup of coffee and cruise the internet a little and get busy with my big chore.
Ya'll have a great day and I'm just gonna hope I don't bump into my little visitor while I'm cleaning. Don't want to have to knock him in the head
with my persuader.

I got up about 6:00 to go to the bathroom but went back to bed. My DH, who was probably up at 4:00, brought me a bacon sandwich from the local store. That's the gathering place for the early risers. They drink coffee and gab. That's the second sandwich this week. I need to remind him that he's not suppose to be bringing me one. They are so good but I can't eat one very often and still be able to fit in my clothes.

It has already rained this morning and there are showers all around us. It makes it so humid I hate to go outside. I try to walk every afternoon late but unless there is a breeze it is hard to go very far. It looks like Oklahoma is getting some rain. They were one of the states that was having fires.

I have been to town 2 days in a row so guess I'll stay home. With gas at $3.50 I try not to go to town everyday.

Good morning friends. Here is why I don't try to cook: Thought cinnamon toast would be good. Grabbed bottle out of cabinet, I'm here to tell you sugar and ground cloves NOT GOOD. Don't even know why I have gound cloves! Weather here in Bham can't make up it's mind, so staying home from the lake this weekend. Its still supposed to storm tho the sun is peeking out. And asked youngest son if he could come over later and fix downstairs toilet, next week I am having gds pool birthday party here, and need it fixed so people don't have to go all thu the house to my bathroom. Evert have a SAFE and a FUN day. Wendy

I put cloves in pies Wendy but, if you find nutmeg make yourself a Brandy Alexander for breakfast and sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on top YUM or another good breakfast that I remember from one of my 'other' lives Tinkling Ice Cubes. Who ever wakes first brings the sleepy head orange juice with vodka and ice cubes, the tinkle of the ice cubes is sure to wake the sleepy head. There you go easy peasey breakfast. SIgh, and now I wake to organic toast and bla bla bla healthy stuff :(

ChicharrĂ³nes, ACK ACK! I admit I had to Google it but I think I'd prefer my pig made into sausage. The salad does look good though.
