To of the Morning ...It's Sunday woo hoo !!

Well, I'm here again..but I have to tell ya I've been up since 3am..and I thought surely someone would be on in here..guess you all wanted to sleep in..Wish I could...any way..we had some rain yesterday a little bouts of Thunder and looking out this morning my grass is growing..big time...(sigh)

Put together a Breakfast Casserole as I got a call from a friend that wanted to stop in.. I am excited but I'm sure you've had those days that.."I want to be Alone"...but I couldn't say NO...so I'm gonna put on a Happy Face and make it come together..

I did make a pan of bisuits..You know the old fashion kind..Self Rising Flour Crisco and Milk..in my cast iron skillet :) and I do have a jar (only one left ) of Jelly..homemade..Blackberry,Plum and Grape mixed together..really is good.. and my trusty 14 cup Peculator...yeah that baby travels with me..!

Now as for my Washing Machine Delivery...Murphy Strikes Again..(you know I'm getting kind of tired of that sucker) I waited most the day and that's unusual for this place..so I called up and asked.."Psst where's my washer"? Long and shor of it...the young girl didn't put it on the schedule to be delivered...Soooooooo next Saturday we'll try it again...Thank goodness I bought more undies ....

That's about it...other than I hope you all have a great Sunday...

Kathleen congrats on that new baby...didn't see where you posted yet ..

Echo welcome back home...I know you are kissing the ground too..Now for the move in !!!

Soos, I sure hope this coming winter we get together...we will try again :)

Lori and Ernie great pictures I loved Sturgis..and I'm tellin ya.. I never seen so many "bikes" in all my born day...even got one of my tattoos out there..LOL I was brave :)

And Martha....Happy Birthday...hope you do the things you want and may your wishes come true !

For all of you I wish you a fantastic day and if you can get out...GO..there are so many neat places and some right even in your back yard..

God's Blessings Shine Down On All

Zeee and her Cranky..(yes they work up on the wrong side of the track) Critters 3

Psst...Coffee is ready....clang, clang..come and get it !!! :D :D :D

Morning Barb Z and all that follow. I am helping myself to a cup of coffee. Not ready for breakfast, but that breakfast casserole sounds like it would be good.

So glad Echo made it home safe and sound. She has her work cut out for her now moving from the old rig into her new to her rig.

Had a kind of melt down yesterday. Was harsh with Mom and Paul telling them I was tired of feeling like nothing got done unless I stayed on them. Felt about 2 inches high after. Went and apologized to both of them. I have to remember Mom will be 80 in a couple weeks and she has not been feeling well. Paul is disabled. He has a broken bone in his leg that has not healed in 10 months. He is a diabetic and is just not healing. Mom was in tears all day. She was telling me I should just put her in a nursing home and that she could not move as fast as I could. I told her that was not going to happen. She was not going into a nursing home. Told her once we got on the road, it would be easier for her and I would take care of her. Decided I am not going to talk to her about all her clutter anymore. I will just pick up after her and keep her clutter under control when we get on the road. All I am doing is hurting her feelings. That's no good. I want her golden years to be pleasant being the full timer she always wanted to be.

Had a dream last night where Chuck was telling me he is ready for us to be in Oklahoma. He said he wants to see Mike and Beverly again. They are our friends who are Camp Hosting at Lake Murray. Told him it wouldn't be too long and we will be there. I think Chuck was reminding me of the end goal. Get on the road. This packing and throwing away is so stressful.

Got to finish my coffee. Thanks Barb.

Everyone have a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Just got the eyes open, coffee poured, and sat down to read the news here....looked at the clock, it's 7:15am here....and Zee's already got the coffee going.... ;) I'll add the orange sweet rolls to the table for all... ;)

Dawn - it's normal to have a "melt down" every now and then at this stage of your life...You so want to be done with it all and on the road...and things just aren't going fast enough for you. You've got to take a minute and do some deep breathing. Be assured it is all coming together, but some times the "wheels of progress" move a little slow...Your Mom's reaction is also normal, too...and you said all the right words to her when you apologized...Okay, today is a new day, run with it....and forget about yesterday...it's done....okay, I'm done now with the pep talk....You'll all be fine...

Our day is a stay at home day....With the Olympics and the NASCAR race today, we'll have alot of "tube time"....

Have a great day, all....

good morning ladies
I actually have nothing to do today, so its going to be a traditional Sunday of kicking back and relaxing. I'm sure I'll find something on the
tv to sit with my crochet in my lap. The baby afghan is coming along nicely, right about at the half way point.
The weather has been nice these last couple days, not extremely hot but a little overcast. They keep predicting rain but didn't get any
in my neighborhood.
Time for more coffee. The girls are up and wanting breakfast so on that note, guess I better get off the computer. Ya'll have a great day
and be safe.

Good Morning Barb and Dawn and everyone else that is a sleepy head like me... I miss going to church when I am out but in a few weeks I will be home...
Oh Dawn you reminded me of my cousin Kitty when you said what you did yesterday! I heard so many stories yesterday at the party... when my aunt Anna was a tad bit younger she lived with Kitty that was for the past 17 years she lived with her... she said that grandma my aunt would be eating cereal and take her spoon and flip a spoon full milk and all to each of the two dogs they had! She said at first it bothered her awful but then she decided to just put a larger throw rug under her chair and wash it every couple of days... Kitty is one patient lady...
The visit with my cousins and Aunt was so great... my aunt did say a few words and her eyes were so clear... she was in a wheel chair and we had one huge room to ourselves... my aunts daughter Irene had 10 children 9 are living one died in a horrible car accident while he and his dad were changing a tire they both were killed instantly by a huge truck... between my cousins children grandchildren and great grandchildren there are over 100 of them... my other cousin died years ago... but that didn't leave my aunt alone with all of those kids... she made scarves and mittens for each of them for christmas every year... I held her hand for maybe an hour and a half to two yesterday she kept sQueezing my hand gently... I know she did not know me but that was fine... she said several times 'I just want to go to heaven!'... there is no answer to that one... but she has had a lot of love and given much love back...
My great grandson Jackson was born last night a little after 9... Sarah my great granddaughter and Mike gave him his first bath... I talked to Ameera and she was eating she was hungry after not eating for 36 hours... wow I will be so happy to see them in a couple of weeks after I finish my visit with my friend T in six lakes...
I will pull out in a while and get groceries then be on my way...
Barb I'll have some of that casserole too that is not my usual choice but it sounds so good and I didn't even have to make it... mmmm mmmm good
Take care everyone and Echo get the camera going and tell us all about the new tt...
Drive safe Barbie and put the car in a lower gear going down those mountains!
well good morning girls glad you got up were posting when you did! what a party we are having...

GOOD MORNING BARBZEE AND ALL!

I love to see this kitchen open with Zee at the helm now! What a disappointment to not get your new washer yesterday---another week is a long time to wait. That employee should get her little butt whupped for 'forgetting' to add you to the delivery list. By the way, I read somewhere not long ago about a recipe for French Toast made in a slow cooker? Would you have the recipe for that? It looked as if it had walnuts and other good stuff in it, and it would be great to try it for my Ruckus. I can't think of anyone else who might know a recipe like this.

Dawn, meltdowns are inevitable when you are trying to do so much in a prescribed amount of time. At least you recognized your frustration and made the appropriate appologies, and I am sure they both love you enough to understand and forgive you. You and your mom will be in an entire different world out on the roads as full-timers! I can understand her sadness at not being more able to help you do what needs to be done, and her berating herself by saying you should incarcerate her. I can imagine that made you feel as low as you can go. :( But you grabbed yourself by the seat of your pants, and now it's onward!

Kathleen your family is massive and has had so many experiences to share with each other! I am so very glad you got a chance to spend some hand-squeezing time with your aunt, and she may know a lot more than you think she knows. Exciting that you now have a new great grandson, too! Jackson has arrived into a loving family!

Ava, I sure do hope you get some rain and some cooling off in your neck of the woods before you head back to full-time work in the buses. It's been a very hot and stressful time for so many out in your area----actually, all over the country but for right here!

Today will be some more berry-picking and some pool time with Orion, when they get back from the Rugby Tournament in town. His mama and papa have to go show him off to their myriads of friends! Meanwhile, I will pick, pick, pick!

I feel sorry for poor Michael Phelps yesterday, who didn't even finish in third place. Perhaps he shirked in his training a bit to much? His 17th medal in a row is no longer a possibility. Sigh.

Happy travels!

Good morning !!! Was so glad to hear from Zeee and Dawn this morning, that Echo had made it home, safely. I checked FB and here last night before going to bed and found no info, so went to bed, praying she had made it home safely.

Beautiful outside here this morning, we had a hard downpour yesterday evening, came up so fast and only lasted maybe 15 mins., but sure dumped a lot of water in such a short span of time. I didn't like all the lightening and thunder that came with it. Cooled things off , and feels so good and its just gorgeous outside. !!

Breakfast casserole sure does sound good this morning, I always enjoy them, especially when someone else has done all of the work

Congratulations, Kathleen, on the expansion of your family, Babies are such a Blessing and so much fun and enjoyment. I know you are anxious to see this new member of your family. Enjoy your stay in Michigan, its a beautiful state and so much to see, plus all your friends.

Olympics have started so not much getting done here. I need to get the lead out though, as I have a friend coming to visit next week, her husband is helping a friend to move to N.H. and she is going to visit with me for a week. What a mess I have here, but she is a friend for 35 yrs. or more, so she won't care,(I keep telling myself this :o  ).

My feet and ankles, that I discussed the swelling with the dr. last visit, are still swollen and seem to never go down now. Changing the meds, apparently has not worked. I have a visit next Thurs . with him, but am thinking I might call tomorrow and complain they are very uncomfortable. This is something that is so new to me in all of my life , have never had this problem for any reason and so I am beginning to worry. All the work waiting here for me, doesn't seem all that important to me, right now.

Dawn, I hope things will smooth out for you. Its really a stressful time for you, I know just how you feel, all I want to do here is just get in and drive off and leave it all. I'm so glad you have family who are helping you move things out. There is always a bright side to bad situations, so keep looking and thinking positive as you seem to be and soon it will all be over :) Next year this time, you will look back and think, Wow, how did I do alllllll that in such a short span of time. You have shortened the time of destuffing on this forum by months and in some cases years. So stay positive, you're doing good !!!!!

Yesterday, must have been a really "fine day", for everyone, not many greetings on that thread. Hope today is another really fine day for everyone, do hope to have more respond today though, nice to read how everyones day is going. For those of us setting alone in our homes, its nice to hear of others days and hopefully all are having some good times.

Take care, do whatever it takes to stay safe, those on the road, be especially careful,
Have a wonderful day, doing whatever makes you happy,
CArol :)

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

It is so nice to be home and knowing that I don't have to go jump in the truck and hammer down the road again today. Altho there is nothing wrong with being on the road if you can relax and smell the roses along the way. I am so gonna have to break the habit of rush, rush, rush! But the road from here to Dallas is a very familiar route for me. Did a dedicated route between Nashville and Laredo once or twice a week for over 9 months with a trucking company. Sure did get old and boring doing that route!

I am sitting here in my sun dress swilling coffee! Yum!! ;) And Kelly is out the door to go clean the bath houses and 2 cabins. She asked if I could take her to her job at WalMart today and I said yes. After I picked her up last night she spent about 15 to 20 minutes poking and looking thru the new trailer. She is over the moon at our new home. I really should get dressed and busy but I'm enjoying being a lazy bum at the moment!!! Seriously thinking that now that we are both bringing in paychecks of getting a small storage room to put excess stuff into and get it out from under foot. We really don't want to clutter up our new home and live like sardines in it. It will be so nice that Kelly will have a closet, drawers and overhead cubbyholes for her stuff and not have to have it out to be gotten around.

I might have to go and buy a new water hose and another sewer hose but not sure of the sewer hose yet. Need to check it out first. And that's only if we get to stay in the spot where I dropped the trailer. Also need to level up the trailer if we stay in that spot. Need to get the tires off the ground and up on my blocks of 2x12's. So much to do and so very little energy at the moment! It's suppose to be 88 and humid today so I just bet that I will be sweating my butt off today. UGH!

I know that I must have missed a ton of stuff going on in here cause I haven't been on the laptop and in here to check up on everyone. So I am gonna let ya all know that I have been thinking and adding all of you to my prayers. If I've missed birthdays? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Hope everyone is doing well, and if not, I hope you get back up to speed super fast. Zee? Well there might not be any hope there until she can get rid of Murphy!

Ok, off to go do a little reading and play a tiny bit of catch up. Hope everyone has a great day and make sure that you do whatever it is that your gonna do, that it's all done safely!!!

Love to all

Well, the other night on FB I learned from Barb Z I can do potatoes in the slow cooker, now french toast! I can disregard the stove completely now?! Just got back from lake a couple of hours ago, did a butt in the crock pot there. Was going to stay another day but had done eveerything there was to do at the lake. Also, a man drowned just off the shore of the cg, felt kind of down about that. Tomorrow Ill just putter around here. Oh, my trip to Branson got cancelled (bus trip) dur to a bunch of people cancelling out. I was looking forward to it. Everyone have a good night. Wendy

Just a lazy day for me. No GDs this weekend, but looks like I'll be needed again next week when soccer camp starts and one GD goes in the AM and the other in the PM, 5 hrs each, and as I live closer to Portland than they do, I figure I'll become a wait station. Just took them home on Friday as their parents were in Vegas.

So this AM I spent some time in my RV at the storage unit. Needed to drop off some stuff and also exercise the Genny. Sure wanted to just take off in it. Noticed allot of empty spaces where others are out in theirs. The weather here sure has been perfect for camping. No complaints at all.

Hard to find sites on the coast as they are unindated with tourists looking for tsunami debris. They interviewed some shop/store owners who said they have made more $$ in one week that they generally do all summer! Crowds = no fun in my book.

Finished the scarf I was crocheting. It turned out ok albeit a bit stiff. I will do another one in a softer yarn. Also need to add some fringe. That can wait as a Winter project.

Enjoying everyones blogs as they travel our great nation. Praying for all of you in need.
