Good morning ladies - great pictures of a beautiful morning. Good way to get the day going. Trying to talk Bill into taking a drive (and stop working in the mo9torhome) today to see the longest covered bridge in the US.(?) according to the map - it is only about 40 miles from here. It is supposed to be a nice cool sunny day - then tomorrow it is supposed to get down to the 20s at night. Guess I should prune the roses and cover them.
Made brownies yesterday with carmel sauce in them. Yummie..... Its a Pillsbury mix

Happy Lord's day morning to everyone. I'm ready to go out the door on my way to church, but I'm so glad I popped in to see that beautiful sunrise in NY! Thanks for braving the cold to share them, Cedar. It's supposed to be in the upper 30's here in Ocala tomorrow morning, but I'll be on my way to NC to join up with Carolinagal for our leisurely journey to the TX gtg.

Have a blessed day, all.

Chilly weather for almost all of us in the next day or 2.......but we're all hardy folks so we'll survive

Got my coffee and catching up with everyone here.....Ernie's getting ready for his morning walk and will want breakfast when he gets back, so I'd better get going here....

Morning! I have nothing to bring to the table except coffee and some English toffee creamer. However I do have apple carmel pecan bread mixing in the breadmaker..so stop in for coffee this afternoon. Beautiful pictures Cedar! I can visualize a four season collage with pictures taken of the mountains from the same spot framed and matted on a wall! It's 43 here this morning and sounds like that's about as warm as it's going to get plus we're suppose to have high winds with gusts up to 55mph. Think it's going to be a closet cleaning day...cuz I might have to put some rocks in my pockets to keep from blowing away if I tried to do anything outside! Mom called last night and told me not to come today because she was going to a church harvest festival then a memorial service with one of her friends. So I have an unexpected day at home. Have a good one!

Good morning ladies. Been sick in bed for a couple of days with sore throat/cold. Feel somewhat better today and am sick of laying in bed. Seems like everytime I go to the doctor I end up getting sick. Do you think it could be all those people coughing and hacking in the waiting room?

Woke up this morning because it sounded like there was a herd of elephants on my roof. Looked outside and the ground was covered with grackles. For those of you who don't have grackles in their area, they're a big, black bird. They're really pretty but whatever they eat, they poop red so I ran outside and shooed them away.

Am having a cup of warm tea for my throat. Its funny but when I'm sick I want tea, not coffee. My dogs are always happy when I'm sick cause they can stay in bed with me all day. Only difficult thing about fulltiming is that I have to drag myself out of bed to walk the dogs even tho we don't go far.

Gonna start buckling down the inside of the rig in preparation to move for the GTG. Can hardly wait.

Love the pictures - such a pretty area.

Gooooood Morning!

LOL it is still morning. I've been up being a lazy worthless slug. And I've enjoyed every minute of it. Now it needs to come to an end. Jenny and David got up, got around to go out the door as David has to work the lunch shift today at Olive Garden. But Jenny has got a nice batch of chili going in the crockpot, it stank this morn at 3:am when I did my middle of the night trip to the potty. But after getting up and now that I'm awake? It sure smells yummy. But Jenny let me know that her dad is coming over for a late lunch at 2pm and I would imagine her brother and son will come too. So I need to get after some housework. And Kelly is now up so she can do the vacuuming. ;)

Even tho we only have just the one day off this weekend and housework has to be done I am going to try to enjoy every single minute of it. Was told last week that we wont get our regular Friday off this week because it's the last day of the month, so everyone has to work. So today might be the only day off for two weeks. Yay, fun, fun and more fun!!!

Ok, hope everyone has a completely grand day. Be safe is all you do and have fun.

Love to all

Oh, what beautiful pics, Cedar!

As you can all see, I'm not joining the table till late today. I'm off today and slept in till about 8, and Peaches and my morning walk extended into a golf cart ride through the park with one lady here, then we hopped on a golf cart with a gent here and took a ride to the beach - returned and he graciously changed my outside door light (which I can't reach and didn't think about pulling over the picnic table LOL) and got back in here about 12:30 - that was quite a long morning walk LOL Peaches is soundly sleeping. And that is why I never get anything done around here - my days disappear doing nothing :)

I'm now sitting here eating a wonderful piece of watermelon - probably purchased my last watermelon of the season this week. Tonight is steak and poker night. Last night I went out to karaoke to celebrate a couple's here anniversary. See - I'm just never sitting still here - sometimes that's good - sometimes bad - I'm actually going to leave early for the gtg - have some things I need to take care of (like Fri will finally get the cruise control recall taken care of) and then amble slowly to Kerrville to arrive on Tuesady - can't wait -
