Beautiful Thursday

Morning all,
Another beautiful day on tap here in northern Michigan. But we desperately need some rain. Fire weather watch is in effect here today as it's going to be dry and windy.
Just finished some scrambled eggs, sausage and strawberries for breakfast. Will be making my lucnh and getting ready to head out the door in a bit here. Another get the park ready for the big weekend day. My co worker and I went through our bathroom/shower buildings with a fine tooth comb yesterday and today I am going to hose down the exteriors, not that the cobwebs won't be back by tomorrow. A constant battle there. Am also going to take the leaf blower and blow off all the stairs going down to the beach along the campground etc. So I will be keeping busy today. There will only be one other maintenance worker besides myself in the park today as two of my co workers are a father in law/daughter in law and right now his wife is in the hospital facing heart surgery as well as some other complications, so she is going to be with the familly today, and two others are going to clean our 15 boating access sites we take care of. Of course there will be staff in the campground office as well.
Soos, i have a ramp for my dogs to get in and out of my Flex. Got it from PetSmart and it's very lightweight and folds down nicely. They are getting used to it and don't mind going up and down it either. You might consider some kind of step for Molly to get up on the bed with and just put it on the bed during the day, out of your way.
Kathleen, would be nice if you can get to see your friends in MI. Hope your knees keep getting better so you can move around better.
Ava, sounds like you are moving around more. Hope your problems gradually fade away and you can resume your normal lifestyle. Hang in there.
Been enjoying reading the AK blogs and posts from everybody. Brings back lots of memories for me, especially some of Beth's. Looks like everybody's having fun and enjoying the trip. Liz's description of their visit to the Fort Laramie area sounded like fun and it definitely is on my list when I eventually head west as well.
Well ladies, I must get moving along here. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Safe and enjoyable travels to all those who are on the road. And if any of you are planning a Memorial Day camping trip or whatever, have fun and enjoy.
