Another Monday in April

Good Morning from the 45th,
Bacon, eggs, sausage, bread for toast, croissants, cream cheese etc., are available here this morning along with strawberries or sliced peaches, so help yourself. Will have to bring you own coffee though, as I don't keep any here.
My goodness, from reading through yesterday's Coffee posts, it seems like a few people are under the weather with some little bugs of some kind. I certainly hope you ladies are starting to feel better. No fun being sick with little tummy type bugs etc. Or being sick period.
Carol, sounds like you have things under control and are getting ready to make tracks for AK. Hard to believe it's almost that time already. Seems like the plans were just being laid. Oh, you ladies are going to have such a great time. Since I have been there, I will follow your adventures and kinow just what you are seeing etc. Well, for the most part anyway as we didn't have time to hit the Kenai Peninsula. And I really hope the mountain "comes out" for you while you are in Denali. It didn't for us.
Ava, I know it was hard to part with the Kitty, but you did the right thing in giving her a quieter home and letting her just do her own thing. She will get used to her new home and things will be just fine. Hopefully thing will work out that eventually you can have your own place too and your dog can relax more and not be so upset by things around you where you are.
Will be time for me to head off for work again, in a little white. The weekend just flew by. But I did get in a couple of rides. Saturday I went to Houghton Lake which is 50 miles south of here, did some shopping at a big craft store as they were having 30% off and i wanted some new sweatshirts. They have a large selection as they screen print and do custom embroidery on them if you want. Also picked up some stickers for my next sign I am making. Took the dogs along to give them a day away from the house and we stopped at one of the state parks on the way home and did some exploring for a little while. Made a nice get away day. Did clean up the house a bit before I left though. Company coming this Thursday for a few days. Yesterday it was off to church in the morning followed by a short shopping trip to replenish some food stuff here, then home for lunch and off for another short ride. Wanted to see if I remembered how to get down to a boating access site about 7 miles from here. Yep, way back down a forest trail road that makes me wonder why they ever put a launch way back in there. It's on a pretty lake though and just as crystal clear as you can ever want as their are no human intrusions around there like homes etc. Shallow lake though. Here again, the dogs and I did a little exploring. There are two tracks all over back there, so one needs to know where one is going before you venture off the main path too far. We stayed closed by the lake and just went a bit. Then came home, washed the Flex and cut my front grass. So my weekend went poof. But it was fun. I love driving and being out, so taking these little day trips especially with this new wagon I'm driving are fun for me. But time to face reality and get back to work.
So with that, I am going to leave you ladies and wish all of you a wonderful day no matter what you are doing and hope all of you who are under the weatehr for whatever reasons, feel better.
