Good Morning from the 45th,

Bacon, eggs, sausage, bread for toast, croissants, cream cheese etc., are available here this morning along with strawberries or sliced peaches, so help yourself. Will have to bring you own coffee though, as I don't keep any here.

My goodness, from reading through yesterday's Coffee posts, it seems like a few people are under the weather with some little bugs of some kind. I certainly hope you ladies are starting to feel better. No fun being sick with little tummy type bugs etc. Or being sick period.

Carol, sounds like you have things under control and are getting ready to make tracks for AK. Hard to believe it's almost that time already. Seems like the plans were just being laid. Oh, you ladies are going to have such a great time. Since I have been there, I will follow your adventures and kinow just what you are seeing etc. Well, for the most part anyway as we didn't have time to hit the Kenai Peninsula. And I really hope the mountain "comes out" for you while you are in Denali. It didn't for us.

Ava, I know it was hard to part with the Kitty, but you did the right thing in giving her a quieter home and letting her just do her own thing. She will get used to her new home and things will be just fine. Hopefully thing will work out that eventually you can have your own place too and your dog can relax more and not be so upset by things around you where you are.

Will be time for me to head off for work again, in a little white. The weekend just flew by. But I did get in a couple of rides. Saturday I went to Houghton Lake which is 50 miles south of here, did some shopping at a big craft store as they were having 30% off and i wanted some new sweatshirts. They have a large selection as they screen print and do custom embroidery on them if you want. Also picked up some stickers for my next sign I am making. Took the dogs along to give them a day away from the house and we stopped at one of the state parks on the way home and did some exploring for a little while. Made a nice get away day. Did clean up the house a bit before I left though. Company coming this Thursday for a few days. Yesterday it was off to church in the morning followed by a short shopping trip to replenish some food stuff here, then home for lunch and off for another short ride. Wanted to see if I remembered how to get down to a boating access site about 7 miles from here. Yep, way back down a forest trail road that makes me wonder why they ever put a launch way back in there. It's on a pretty lake though and just as crystal clear as you can ever want as their are no human intrusions around there like homes etc. Shallow lake though. Here again, the dogs and I did a little exploring. There are two tracks all over back there, so one needs to know where one is going before you venture off the main path too far. We stayed closed by the lake and just went a bit. Then came home, washed the Flex and cut my front grass. So my weekend went poof. But it was fun. I love driving and being out, so taking these little day trips especially with this new wagon I'm driving are fun for me. But time to face reality and get back to work.

So with that, I am going to leave you ladies and wish all of you a wonderful day no matter what you are doing and hope all of you who are under the weatehr for whatever reasons, feel better.

Morning - another Monday so back to the grindstone. I'm working a long one today as I have to pick up a friend and her family at the airport this evening and I work about halfway between the airport and home.

I'm still looking for an opportunity to go camping but haven't found it yet.

Good Morning from the cool forests of Georgia... the sun is shining and birds of every kind are singing... I will be packing up then see how far I can go today... well that is not far for me under 200 for sure...
I did shower and vacuum yesterday and took Shadow for two very short walks... talked for a bit with the camp ground hosts... there is a stray pregnant cat here in the park... wish I could take her but that would not be an option...
Sue sounds like you had a very full weekend... enjoy the company when they come...
Soos thinking of Goog today...
take care everyone the road...
Kathleen

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Haven't been keeping up with much of anything as I am having some major laptop problems. As a matter of fact mine is unplugged and in the overhead cabinet in my room. Took it to Best Buy and the 'Geek Squad' guy says he thinks the internal wireless card thing is shot. I bought a external usb wireless adapter and to tell the truth it hasn't helped much at all. So there went $30 plus down the drain. I am using Kelly's laptop right now and it's not much better as her Flash plugin thing keeps crashing. She has tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a couple of times and it still crashes. We both need major work on our laptops or better yet new laptops. But we all know how that goes!!! Lack of money sucks big time. Gonna try and find out if the internal wireless thing is fixable or replaceable. Geek guy said, "I don't think "it" is". He didn't sound to sure tho. Hmmm?

Rained here yesterday morning and was chilly all dang day. Didn't stop the people from coming to the park tho. Suppose to be chilly again today too. I did the morning shift yesterday and got super buried in dirty dishes, pots and pans. OMG!!! When the change from breakfast to lunch took place that was that!! They just did not stop coming. there's only one dishwasher on in the mornings, we wash, sort, stack and put away the clean dishes. The other employees help out when needed. It got to the point that 2 others started helping. I had so many dirty dishes to do that when 2 bussers came in at the same time with more I felt like crying. Geeze!!! Oh well it's a job and a paycheck but it's the hardest I have ever worked in my life and that is no lie!!!!

Kelly is getting ready to go out the door to do bathrooms and maybe one camping cabin. I will leave here at noon as I have to be on the clock at 1pm. Need to go take care of my email. I just bet that it is a mess.

OK, gonna go read and try to catch up a little. For those that need them, please know that you are all in my prayers. Hope that everyone has as good a day as possible in your corner of the world. Have fun and be safe.

Love to all

Morning all,

Getting ready to fix second cup of coffee. Chuck had a good night last night after a bad one the night before. So glad for the good nights out numbering the bad ones still.

Sue, so glad you had a good weekend.

Echo, hate it that you have to work so hard. I don't think the Geek Squad at Best Buy know what they are doing. That has been my opinion. Maybe in your area, there is someone who does computer repair. I know my brother does that in the Jackson, MS area. He does this part time. He is a programmer in his regular job. Someone like that might be more knowledgeable than the Geek Squad.

Kathleen, glad you are feeling better and are back on the road. Travel safely.

Have a great day everyone,
Dawn

Morning Ladies! Spent a few days last week visiting with Beth in Az. It was only 380 miles there, so why not? She was so good to Evie (a friend of mine that likes to go, but doesn't like to drive her rv without someone to follow) and I...she had fried chicken and potato salad waiting for us in case we were hungry when we got there. Then she gave us a great tour of the Organ Pipe Cactus Monument and a fun tour of Ajo. It was getting hotter and temps were rising, so Evie and I left a day early and headed for home. Gave me more time to unload a few things, clean Hope, load a few more things and I'm off to Laughlin for the Laughlin River Run tomorrow. Whew! I took a couple of pictures but Beth took most of them, so I'll wait and let her put them on her blog when she gets to it. We had a great time and Evie even saw a Mexican Grey Wolf trot thru camp while Beth and I snoozed away. Didn't have any service in Ft. Mojave last year where I stay , and spotty in Laughlin, so I'll have forum withdrawal for a week. Maybe I'll get lucky and they will have put up a new tower since then. Of course, once 5,000 bikers get into town no one gets out, cell overload...

Hope everyone has a great week, stay safe and healthy!

well, its still morning by a few minutes but GOOD MORNING :D
Ok, I'm on my lunch break.
Echo..have you run a malwar scanner on your puter lately? When mine was running poorly for Frontierville I ran a malwar scanner and found
so much crap I think it gave my laptop a hemorroid  After I ran it all was good again and like new. The one I got was free and found it
on Firefox help support page.
