Kitchen here is open for all. I had to clean for the weekend company, I might as well open it for all. Help yourself. I am off to work. The skies here in Ohio look beautiful and the temps are to stay in the 60's. The dogs only wish I would stay home to play. I am off to earn some Alaska and Canada gas miles.

Hope everyone finds a good journey whatever path they are on today.

Good Morning Tina,

I'm off to work in a few minutes here too, and my dogs also wish that I could stay home with them. But we must earn some green. You to pay for AK gas miles etc. and me to put food on my table and in the dog bowls etc.

Wish we had some of your nice Ohio sunshine and temps. It's cloudy here and snow flurries are in the air. There is a light dusting of snow on my deck, the roof tops and things like that. Supposed to be a pretty brisk day according to our forecast and some flurries around.

Thank you for all the first day back to work well wishes Ladies. It was a good day. We had a nice day weather wise too which was a surprise as they had predicted windy weather but it didn't develop till afternoon. But we got a number of things done, primarily the removal of snow fencing and snowmobile markers and signs in the park. They are only allow to follow the park road from the entrance to the public access and are not allowed in the park, so snow fence needs to be installed in a couple of places and the route to the lake marked. The the rest of the day was spent picking up all the limbs, branches, cut trees etc., in our South Campground. Today will probably be more of the same in that dept.

Guess all my exercising I did in gym class this winter is paying off as I'm going along good, no sore muscles, able to keep moving all day etc., Probably will get tired from the being on feet all day, but that too shall pass.

Well, time to leave. Wish all of you a wonderful day.

Sue - glad you had a pain-free first day.

Running through to grab a cuppa Java then off to clear the mess on my desk. Why I thought taking 2 1-week vacations 3 weeks apart was a good idea... but I did enjoy both of my camping trips. I'm going to try for another weekend in a couple of weeks - we'll see. I really have to plan out around my coursework at this point. C'mon July!!!

Good morning all, Winnie and I will add to Tina's table. We have fresh Papaya, an omelet with salmon, fresh asparagus and goat cheese. Winnie loves fresh asparagus almost as much as sugar snap peas.
A beautiful day here too and nothing planned, well except for boring house work and more dog grooming. Andy looks cute with his short hair plus after his bath yesterday his hair is curly! Only one to go and he is almost ready for his bath, got a bit more hair to cut off first.

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Frontier yesterday afternoon working on our slow internet connection. They are sending someone out to check our phone lines today so hopefully we can get up and running without the connection going on and off and being slow when we are online.

Thinking of Carolyn this morning and hoping her surgery went well.

Uh, ma'am, I'll have what she's having, and a cup of coffee, please.

Oh, BJ, you set my mouth to watering...

GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL!

I am back in Orlando, as Dinah found a hole in Goog's fence last evening and ran through the adjacent farmer's cow pasture! No cows were in that section at the time, thank heavens, and she came right away when I noticed she was on the other side of the fence. I had to search for a place outside Goog's fence and over by the farmer's fence to get her out of there! I don't have the srength or energy to go out and buy stuff to patch the fence right now, so I decided to come back here. Lots to do here anyway, if I am to leave in less than two weeks now. We found where she got through the fence and it won't be had to patch it up another time. She is a weasel, for sure!

Nice and sunny and coolish here today at about 78, or so. I may find the energy to head for the pool this afternoon. First I need to print out info about all the campgrounds I will be staying at on my way home. I figure it will take me 8 driving days to get there at a slow rate of miles per day.....and that's not counting my extra day in GA and my however many days in SC at the GTG.

April is the month of many birthdays in this family---the 7th was my mother's, today is my oldest daughter's, tomorrow is my ex-mother-in-law's, the 12th was my father's, the 15th is Mandy's and her cousin Dave's. Must have been a good baby-making month 9 of them ago!

Hoping all of you are having a fun day wherever you may be.

Slept in late this morning (uh, noon  ). Very tired after all the driving yesterday. Left 29 Palms around noon yesterday and drove to Palm Springs, stopping along the way to do some souvenier shopping in Joshua Tree. Stopped in Palm Springs to shop some more. Lots of cute little shops there. Bought a comical horsey sculpture for my daughter's birthday present. She will love it!

The long 3 hour drive up and over the mountains from Palm Springs back to San Diego was beautiful but tiring! My little car did a great job tho!

Linda and I had a very nice time getting caught up on each other's lives. She is off for Michigan (with several stops in between), leaving on Thursday. We took photos together, so will get those posted later...

Hope you all have a fun, productive day!
