Thursday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday Morning

Good Morning from the 45th,

Well, it's warmer in here this morning then it was yesterday. Turned out to be the thermocoupler in the furnace. My service guy was out in less than a half hour after I called and had me up and running in fairly short order. So now I'm back in business and my checkbook is a bit emptier

But the fun didn't end there. This morning I was awakened at 5 a.m. by two frantic dogs. Thought maybe they had to go out. Nope. Hmmmm. Since I don't wear my hearing aids to bed, I put one on to see if I could detect the problem. Sure enough. A chirping smoke alarm. So went and got new battery, changed it. End of problem, back to bed. I can't wait to see what tomorrow is going bring in this very interesting week. Course this day is just beginning, so..... So far it's been one lawn tractor battery, one furnace thermocoupler and one smoke alarm battery needing replacing.

Was thinking when I went back to bed, how it is, that animals can become so dependent on us for help or whatever. One minute they can be barking, growling, hissing or what not at a stranger or something around your yard or house and the next can be so afraid of somethng that they come running and practically wrap themselves around you. The protection mode goes in the opposite direction.

Today I think we are all going to take a ride someplace after I run a couple of errands in town. I'm running out of week and time to play as that work date is looming. Not sure where we are going. Going to be a sunny day, but a bit cool, so I don't think we will go north unless i change my mind. Was thinking more in terms of going south a ways. We shall see. I've got things pretty well under control here right now, so good day to play. My snowblowers are all washed, covered and put away for summer and my lawn tractor is up and running and for all practical purposes ready to mow and what not. Just have to check my lube points over and see if any need grease etc. Tomorrow.

So, time to go get cleaned up, wash hair and head to town, then come back and pick up the dogs and off we go. Hope those who were in the paths of the storms are okay. Others are getting ready for travels or camping trips etc., so looks like people are on the move and getting ready to enjoy summer one way or other. Have a wonderful day all.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Only got 4 minutes before it's afternoon so will be quick!

Need to be at work at 1pm. YUCK, I'm kinda dreading work today. It's hot outside and I just know that we are gonna be hammered again today. Gads I hope it gets easier! Just might do me in if it doesn't!

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe whatever you do.

Love to all

Mornings gone here, but hope everyone is having a good day !!! We have storms coming this afternoon, we're being told. Rain would be ok, but never sure what you might get these days.

Sue, I've always found that 3 mishaps , repairs, etc. was the limit (until next time :D ), so lets hope you have a span of time to recoup the checking acc. and your spirits. ;)

Echo, you didn't sound like your upbeat self in your short post . I know your poor body after being closed in a small space and not much movement this past winter has to be objecting highly, been there, know this. But you've been through so much, and you're letting this get to you? You've never let anything beat
you, to my knowledge. Keep thinking of the positives in your life (you're in the east, the baby , friends etc, etc. ) and you can beat this tiredness, sore muscles etc., if anyone can, you can !!!!. Didn't sound like you this morning, so had to tell you, hoping you'll be ok soon, fingers crossed here that all gets easier and better soon for you.

Sure would like to just get in "Thor" and take off. Sometimes life can be so overwhelming, so much to do, being the only one to tackle any and all problems for so many years , and the fact I am regressing into childhood where I don't want to do chores :D, makes it hard to find the ambition to do all that must be done before I leave in a month. Not doing to well at any of it today.

I'd better go try again to do a few things on the list, sure hope the rest of you are having a more productive day or better yet, having a fun day, doing something you really want to :D

Take care, hope all have weathered the storms well out there in the West,
Those traveling stay safe,
CArol :)
