Tuesday morning is upon us

Good Morning everybody! Wakie, wakie, rise and shine!!!

Coffee is done and got donuts sitting here waiting on ya'll.

Well I might rise but it's gonna take time and more coffee to even get me to the first stages of a glimmer! We were sent home early yesterday cause they suddenly have to many hours on the books??? Now come the end of the month they will want a crap load of overtime to catch back up! sheesh But anyway we came home piddled around a little and both of us ended up taking naps. I set my alarm for 5pm. Well went it went off I was not ready to get back up I had to cover my face so that Shade couldn't get at me! When she couldn't get to me to add her 2 cents worth to the alarm by giving me puppy kisses I could feel her bouncing on the bed! LOL Poor puppy, Mom ignored her and went back to sleep. Ahhhhh The nap did cause me to go to bed later tho. So it's gonna take some extra coffee to get going.

Blazer is fixed which makes me one happy person. Thought we were gonna have a melt down here yesterday. I took David's Blazer for the day and he was gonna use my motorcycle. Well the bike wouldn't run? He sent me a text message letting me know. I called and he said he was hopping on his bicycle and going to the auto parts store to get what he needed for the bike. Geeze just the added thing of that not working got me to going. He ended up giving me quite the pep talk. But he got the bike going, got the Blazer fixed and is my resident Hero. So now Mom has to pay him back for the money he spent for the bike and the Blazer. The fuel pump the place in Pigeon Forge was gonna charge me over $350, David got it here at home all together for $220. Big difference in price. Plus I can fix him an extra special supper as his pay instead of the $165 they were gonna charge for labor. So ends the saga of the Weekend for us.

Well Kelly's alarm has went off twice and she hasn't stumbled out yet??? Guess I better go add a "get up" to get her moving.

Good morning Echo,... I have risen,...but just can't pull off a "shine!"

Back to work today for me,.. and as I went to bed early last night I was wide awake at 2 a.m. and didn't sleep again until 4 a.m. so then overslept,.... ok,..you know that drill, I'm sure. Now it's hustle time,.... out the door!

I'll catch up with all of you later today,.....right now i'm on the run! Dang ...going to work is a heck of a way to live,..but I guess I'm just lucky to have a job.

Morning all......Echo and Cedar are having a rough time getting the old motor going this morning......even though Echo had vehicle issues, they both got a few days off and as we all know, it's hard to get back in the groove.....

Ernie's up and out on the golf course this morning.....trying to get 9 holes in before we get rain here.....I'm just chilling with the coffee and the laptop for now.....am hoping to work some more on the crochet project today.....

Okay.....going over to read the latest entries of what you all have been up to....

Aaaah, Good Morning to you All ! I've been up before 5am and got to get a few more things caught up... can't believe how much upgrading on this laptop that had to be done...goodness it's almost endless.... but boy it was sure peaceful this morning ..infact I heard Zeke snoring..aaaaaah I had quiet time...well for a short bit anyway...

Now in a few minutes I'm heading into CVS ...gonna have to get a walker with a seat to it...yeah I have to bite the bullet and be real about it.. I can't carry the dog dishes and go into the other room without having problems.. sure hope this will pass..but I have too, although I've been fighting it...I have to give in and be smart... being I'm gonna be by myself I can't have anything stupid happen... So, I look at it like this..another phase I have to go through till I get the answers on what is going to be done with my legs...

I have been looking for like a tea cart ...but everything I saw was huge.. and I mean bulky...until I saw a person the other night in the stores with one of these walkers...and light came on..ok.. that can do it .. I mean no biggy...it's multi tasking too...can't stand long on my legs so while I'm mixing or cooking I can sit too..hey sounds good... ok.....on to the next step...oh and it's portable LOL

This will help me also be independent as well... I just don't want to add more burden to anyone ...ok, so it will give me some freedom..how's that sound ???? works for me... now I have to barter on price LOL....

Then I'm gonna head on over to the store pick up a few ..pop in the micro dinners...as again..no stove no kitchen...make it easy...and tomorrow morning I have to drive Robert to the airport..and he's being a worry wart.. so I have to hear the lecture of the year on the way down...Have mercy on me !!!!

I'm pretty much setting things up in the house to make it easy for me....and the critters are being really good..although missing not being able to crawl into bed...but some times ya just gotta be tuff..... maybe by the weekend

Ok, Sista's it's that time for me and I hear Robert calling my name...(so does the neighbors) oh and Charlie was out there this morning waiting on me... I'm gonna get a bench to put out front... I think perhaps I might even get a few more vistors....LOL

Missing you all...and as soon as I can ... I'll be back...but I'll pop in from time to time when I can.... gosh my kitchen table is empty.....

Nan, next time I might take you up on it..in fact we could have a GTG when I come down right then and there... LOL Hey gal..you are not that far from me..... dinner is always open...cause I always have something I can muster up...

Woooeeeee, I'm here and it's not even 10 am yet

I started the day walking Peaches before 7:30 - on the way back we stopped at the site of a man leaving for a weeklong cruise. He's got 2 golf carts and doesn't like them sitting idle, so I took the gas powered one to use. Now, if I didn't mention it, I have an electric one of someone else's here now, also LOL - but that one is losing air in 2 of the tires and I don't know if they know it - and I don't want to do anything to make it worse. I had the air filled on them - and have various people telling me to do different things - but I think they need to decide what they want to do (one person says to put fix-a-flat in the tires - another says oh, don't do that) - So that golf cart is sitting.

Anyway, before 8 we picked up the gas golf cart and I had to discover the throttle LOL - it didn't want to stay started until I found that - then it rode like a charm. Will take Peaches to the beach later.

Came back and watered the plants (yes, me, the person who doesn't do plants, has 4 pots now - decorating my patio - will probably give them all away in April when I leave. Stood and watered my front lawn, also - but on this site, I don't have the extra water spigot I had on my old site, so my extra hose doesn't reach from my regular spigot - have to borrow the neighbors till I buy another hose (which I don't need - ahhhhhhhhhhh money, money money LOL)

Now I'm working on some orders. I've had a heck of a time with out-of-stocks the last month with 2 of the companies I deal with. It's making my work take two to three times longer to deal with. But that's a fact of life and business - so I'm dealing with it, just grumbling and muttering sometimes while I try to make sure I take care of the customer and get them the products.

So, 15 minutes ago a lady calls to find out if we can get her a pinata by this Saturday. Checked and we only have 1 left of what she wanted in the warehouse - she ordered it. I put through the order - while I'm typing this she calls back to say "hey, I don't see that it comes filled already with candy". And I said, no it's up to you to fill it or not fill it - with whatever you want. She mutters and grumbles and says, well now what do I do if I don't want it then. So, I'm voiding her order after calling the warehouse really quickly in hopes that they didn't already have someone boxing it up. Dang - no matter what you do, you can't make some people happy.

I'm super happy to see the stock market is at least regaining some ground. Now, if only my retirement accounts would follow suit and not take 2-3 years to get back what they lost - like what happened last time the stock market went down. That said - I'm better off than many and will keep counting my blessings - even if I am considering that I might have to stop and get a "real" job again after the Alaska trip. I'm not gonna dwell on that - if it happens, it happens. I'm thinking seriously about maybe coming back here and signing on for a couple years workamping - hey, I do like the beach - and I've made a lot of friends here - but that's only one possibility. And the idea of staying in one place for all that time is so scary LOL - my wanderlust would be taking over -

Glad to see everyone up and about this morning - and Zee, yeppers, doing what works for you and your health is the most important thing - you sure do have the right attitude, my friend.
