Good Morning all,

Just making a quick stop to say hi here. Have a chiropractor appt. in an hour and want to make a stop at bank on the way by. Then will do a little shopping, get my prescription filled, a gallon of gas for my small snowblower and head for home. Want to take the girls over to the park later today for a nice doggie walk before mom nature descends on us again.

Winter Storm Watch for here tonight and tomorrow. Potential for 1/4' ice and maybe 6+" of snow. Depends on how it tracks and so forth. Appears at this point, that the U.P. is going to take the brunt of it. Maybe it wll track just a bit more north and put us on the light side of the snow band. Also expecting high winds too. So may not by any gym class tomorrow. Will see when I get up and look outside in the morning

Had a fun gym class yesterday. Lots of laughs. Our instructor was frisky yesterday and everybody else seemed to be really clicking along. Weighed myself this morning and I have now lost 3.5 lbs :) got a ways to go, but it's a start. Going to really watch my eating now. Plan to stay working out with the class till work starts, then will have to quit till next fall. But I will get enough exercise at work to compensate for it.

Sarah, sounds like you are in love with you new MH. I can tell by reading your post from yesterday that you are enjoying it. You might look into small plastic containers and boxes to put some stuff in before you pack it away. Will make easier to find small things. The old rule of the thumb is, if you are carryilng something around you never use, then take it out and use the space for something else. No use carrying stuff we don't need. I"ve done that with some of my stuff that I thought I might need, never used it and haven't missed it either. Setting up a new set of wheels is so much fun. Looking forward to some before and after pictures :)

Well ladies, I must run along here. Hope you all have a wnderful day not matter what you are doing.

Good morning, good morning!

Sue, we're going to get some white stuff tomorrow, too, but not as much as you from the sound of it. We're stocked up with provisions and plenty of propane and gas for the generator if needed.

Can't say there's really anything on my schedule today. Have two CPR classes to teach next month. I've already registered the classes, taken stock of my on-hand supplies and ordered more - might start on the paperwork for the first class on the 9th, but I still have plenty of time.

Will do some work on the Web site I'm developing and hey! may be doing one for an electrical contractor, too. Keeping my "webbed" fingers crossed in hopes that will happen.

Beautiful day here but that will be changing overnight.

Checking for updates on Liz, Simba and Bandit, and hoping Bandit will be found safe and sound today.

Have a groovy day, everyone!

Morning ladies!

Any of y'all heading through southeast Texas towards the gathering, please be careful in this weather. We have drizzle and fog this morning with heavier rains coming through this evening. They are saying the weekend is supposed to be nice but cloudy until then.

I'm starting to think about everything I need to do between now and the 10th when I leave on my one week camping trip. Yeah, some of you are fulltiming and I worry about 1 week in the trailer  But I have to pack it anew most every trip because I don't leave it fully packed, only partially. And I was planning on doing some more "major" things during this last down time - washing the comforters for one - they do tend to get dog hair all over them. And I need to take the tanks and get them filled with propane and plan what I want to cook... oh yeah, and finish two papers between now and then. I have 11 days left in this term - woohoo!

Good celebratory morning for Liz and her wonderful friends that she made it through a horrible situation nearly intact. Everything else I had planned to say can wait for another time, as this news, as the title said, is both good and bad news, and takes precedence. I like to think that, compared to what might have been the outcome, this is all good news. May all involved, including mom and baby, come through this none the worse for wear. Sending strength and good thoughts your way, Liz and Beth and Birdie and Conni, and I will be thinking of you all day. I am sending "Time to come home" thoughts to Bandit, too. I like the suggestion of trying a noisy can opener or pan banging to lure him from his hideout. Things like this really put the stuff of life into a different perspective, eh?

Love to you all from me

Good morning everyone... Having my first cup of coffee.. Be happy when I can say that being in our RV. We still haven't gotten her home yet and I'm a bit miffed about it.. I've been gathering things to put in Her to stay. I tried to contact the guy yesterday to no avail. Maybe I can get ahold of him today on his work phone.

I haven't read what's going on with Liz... I hope all is well..

Have a greaat day all........... J.
