Good Sunday Morning all! I have a load of laundry in and my first cup by my side. We are going to a cook out this afternoon so I have to go start my potatoe salad. I will probably cook the crew a breakfast too. Not to count that the house needs to be cleaned up some and then the rest of the laundry to finish before I leave. Oh it never ends...lol Ok enough whining. Have a wonderful day all!

morning ladies - hope today finds everyone well and happy. we are still in beautiful Parke County, Indiana. Tried posting yesterday a.m. but somewhere between submit and submitting everything disappeared. I have to have the blinds up, window open and laptop angled just right to get on line. but if I sneeze or wiggle poof its gone. well we have done 270 miles in the car and seen 20 of the 31 bridges since we've been here. will never come during festival time again. too many vendors and people. but they are concentrated at certain places. out in the country where most of the bridges are we were usually the only car. the weather has been beautiful. cool at night and warm 80s during the day. watched NASCAR last nite and will probably just relax today, maybe try a load of laundry to see if the mousies got to the washer/dryer. will try posting pictures later. take care everyone

good morning, I'm up late too, and the coffee is just finishing dripping so I'm
getting my first cup.........................ahhhhhhh
Well, it finally happened last night, that cold snap that wakes you up in the
night and tells you to turn on the heater. Knew the day was coming and was
so glad I had brought in my electric heater last weekend from the shed. Will
have to order propane now. Don't know how much propane has gone up but
last year the big tank cost me $87 to fill. Will spend the day buttoning up
things from summer, cover the a/c for one, get the extra curtains back
on the windows, pull out my winter uniform pants and put the shorts away.
Its back to work tomorrow.
Enjoy your day and be safe

Gooooood Morning everybody!!!

Boy it's a good thing that Cedar, Lori and Fernie have saved the morning coffee day for the past few days!! I've done fallen flat on my nose these past few mornings. But I did bring cinnamon rolls to the table for everybody this morning!!! And they are really tasty too.

What a beautiful morning it is too. The weather has just been perfect this weekend. Warm days, cool nights, fun times and camping! Doesn't get any better than that. Except for maybe winning the lottery, I've got to get my ticket out of my wallet and check. Gee, maybe I'm a winner???? NOT! I like dreaming about winning plus Kelly and I play this game of "What If". It's all those what if we win, what would be the first things we would do. :D ;)

Sitting here at the moment watching people pack up and leave. Boy oh boy do some of them make a huge production of it. Some ya can tell have done it more than once or twice. They start, they do, they get done and are ready to pull out. LOL Others do a little, stop to look around, do a little more then get side tracked onto something else thenget back to doing again. Opps!!! There goes one of the ones who simply did it and were ready to pull out. They forgot and left one of their windows open and both roof vents. Dang!!!

Well check out time for us is 11am, so I guess I had best get off my butt and get busy packing up. Good grief what a mess we can make in two days time. :o

Hope all our sistahs have awesome days today. And of course be sure to stay safe.

Love to all

Good Morning, had my cup of coffee and breakfast and wished Biff a Happy Birthday. Biff turned 10 this morning so he got a big kiss and now he's napping and I have the dryer going. Been trying to catch up with all our laundry from Winchester Bay.
Found our friends Gordon & Laura in the park so will spend the day with them today and another couple Chuck & Dorathy are coming over to visit.
Dorathy & Laura are big time beaders and sell their stuff. Laura will be selling her San Francisco home pretty soon and hitting the road full-time again. They had a really old Victorian house.
So we are going to have a fun day visiting friends :D

Well, here I am dragging my butt into the morning LOL - just am not a morning person - even though I was up early and walking, etc. Actually, I went to bed early last night without getting Peaches out for her last walk - I just got tired and skipped it. So around 3 am, I had this little dog sitting in the middle of the floor on her back legs, begging by sitting up and doing this little, tiny crying sound - telling me - Mom, I just can't hold it anymore. So we had a 1/2 hour walk in the middle of the night - then back to bed. Of course, it took me another 1/2 hour to get back to sleep, but I did - and then she let me sleep in later. I sure felt bad - shouldn't have skipped her last walk, but didn't even realize it.

On our walk this morning, she got to visit with almost all her favorite people in the park - and got lots of treats - so she has forgiven me :)

I've just been putzing around. I know I should do some cleaning, vacuuming, etc - did water my plants outside. Otherwise, have a book open and don't feel like doing much. Tonight I'll go out - local place, we bring our own steaks, they cook them and have baked potatoes for us - then we play poker. It's a fun night out - and I've been going most Sundays now for a few months. Probably will continue right through the winter.

Have a great day all - need to post this while it still is showing morning :)
