Good Mornig everyone,

Beautiful sunny morning here. Last day of mild weather for a few days. Blast of cold air coming tomorrow with a burst of snow along with it. Supposed to be cold and blustery day. That's fine. Will go to gym and come home and snuggle down in the house for a few days now. Good time to start some spring cleaning. Well, actually I won't be coming right home as I have to get taxes done tomorrow afternoon.

Not sure what I am getting into today. Gonna call my friend down in Roscommon and see if she is in mood for some company, but first want to run to town to bank and store. Was going to do that tomrrow, but not if it's going to be blustery and cold. Would rather just head for gym and taxes and head home. Only have an hour between the two, so will get a quick lunch someplace in between.

Took the dogs to the park for a little run in the picnic area yesterday. Won't be doing anymore dog walks till we either get some snow over this ice or a mild enough day to really soften it up. Dogs won't be happy, but that's life. We can go out in front here and monkey around for a bit just to get them out. There is one area by a little township park near here where the road is down to bare pavement, so maybe I will go over there one day. We shall see.

Otherwise, nothing new around here. Am going to do some research to see if I can find some work pants for work. This year they are changing over to green and that color is hard to find. I ususall wear Dickies, but haven't been able to find them in green. There is a shade of Olive green out that would be okay, but I am kind of looking for something darker. If not, I will go with the Olive. I have time. We have to buy our own pants, state provides the shirts. Supervisor said she mght look and see if there is a place we could order in bulk too. So we will get it together.

A full day of tax prep ahead for me. I hate it. Just don't dislike it.. .. hate it. I can procrastinate no longer if I am to go to the Texas Gtg.. which I am REALLY looking forward to... a lot. I really enjoy driving my rv and don't seem to do it often enough. The journey is always very much part of the trip for me. But I guess its that way for most.

Time to go play with Uncle Sam. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Breakfast was cheerios with blueberry yogurt and a banana. That was followed with a cup of French Vanilla coffee by Sanseo. Looks to be a cold day for the most part.

Is a cold 49* here in South(er) Central Texas. Is really ugly weather, I think they call it Winter weather. Cloudy and scattered showers thru out the afternoon and night with possible thunder boomers. Actually not supposed to get nice here again until next week.

We are now at Lake Corpus Christi. Lake is looking like a really nice kayak lake. Too cold to go out. Went with Liz and Simba yesterday to find a geo-cache in the campground and we are going to look for one near the dam. Expect to have company today. Woo hoo!

Birdie - we can't complain too loudly about all the clouds and rain after the year we had last year, but I am getting a little tired of it. We did see some sun yesterday for a little while which was nice. But yeah, this is winter in TX.
