Last Friday of January

Good Morning everyone,
Seems like it was just the last Friday of December and now we are ready to see January leave next week. Time stands still for no man as they say. And the older you get the faster it goes.
Having a bit of mild weather here this morning. Triggering off freezing drizzle and fog till later this morning. Schools are closed again. At least hey got three days in this week anyway. Been a yo yo month. Gym class today unless the county busses decide not to run, but it's suppsed to warm up and turn sunny a bit later, so that should help greatly. But if the Council on Aging decides to shut down like they did on Monday, that will take care of class right there. So will watch and wait to see what happens.
Hope Soos was able to pick Dinah up yesterday. She was so looking forward to it along with the anxiety that comes with bringing another 4 footed member into the family. Am waiting to hear how it all went yesterday and how things are progressing.
Sounds like everybody's keeping busy, enjoying the southern weather except where the storms are. Mini GTG in AZ too. Plans being laid for the TX GTG or summer travels etc. Now hopefully despite rumors, the gas prices will stay down. Maybe the experts will be wrong.
Got the annual employment application we have to fill out to return to work yesterday, so will fill that out and get it back to the park by March 9th. Will be interesting to see who has decided to come back. Had a nice chat with the supervisor yesterday and he's making plans for what has to be done this coming year. Lots of work this spring I know. There have been a few of us over to visit him this month, so I think he is starting to feel like home. He really is a nice guy. Will be nice having the ol' paycheck coming in again.
So I shall be off and reading through some of the other posts here. Have a wonderful and fun day all.
