Saturday in the Frozen North

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday in the Frozen North

Morning all,

It's 7:53 a.m. here and a balmy -4 here at the 45th. Well, here in the valley anyway. Reason I say balmy, is cause I can remember back in the 70's when it wasn't unusual to have -25 here. Don't see that much anymore. Big snowstorm is gone and everybody's dug out, life has returned to normal and the winter sports folks are in for a great weekend. Gonna to cold, but when you are out having fun, what difference does it make. You just dress for the weather. :)

I just finished having some bacon and eggs for breakfast and am now having some apple sauce that I made earlier this fall and put in the freezer. Anybody hungry? I've got a couple of eggs left, but have bacon, sausage, bread for toast or french toast, oranges, milk, applesauce, but sorry no coffee. Do have hot cocoa and tea though.

Think this is going to be a scrapbook project day. Need to get back to work on that so i can finsh it up. Have some other things I want to do yet too. And of course the dogs are going to want a walk regardless of what the temp is outside. As is, they are both out right now, but I will bring them in shortly. Bit too cold to be laying out right now.

The folks at the FL GTG are having so much fun. I can see that by the pictures and all the food that's being consumed. Hard to believe that their week is almost over and is for some already. I know that some of the ORS group will be heading for TX in March for another one and I think there are some WomenRVers going too. There are more GTG's starting to pop up as we start heading to spring.

So I am going to bring the dogs in, get myself a glass of water and do some more reading on the "puter" here. Want to wish all of you a great day, keep safe if you are on the road.

Actually 1:30 in the afternoon and we are getting our first snow of the season. Lots of those big fluffy flakes. Knew I went to the store today for a good reason. Hope this stuff melts right away.

Me, too! My 2 GDs have a round-robin volleyball tourney tomorrow in Longview. Have to be there by 7:30 AM
I am spending the night at their house and they live at a pretty high altitude so 3-5" expected. Hope it doesn't materalize, but icy roads from freezing rain is worse. We'll see. ;)
