Morning everybody,
A cloudy morning to start things here today. Supposed to be either sunny or cloudy, depending on where you are, but mild weather continues. Rain moving in tomorrow, not good news for the snow lovers. Will change over to snow late Thursday, but not enough moisture is supposed to be left to do much in the way of accumulation. First part of next week is showing rain showers again. Guess the snow gods have yet to decide if we will have a white Christmas of not. I have a feeling we are going to pay for this somewhere along the line
Cookies are all delivered. Sorry if you didn't get any, but I only made so many and by the time I got them where I had planned, it pretty well depleted my cookie bin. Will have just enough to nibble on between Christmas and New Years here.
I have the new printer up and running and made some stationary for my annual Christmas letter, the which of, I have got to get going on. Trouble is, with the mild weather we have been having lately, who the heck wants to stay inside, although there is nothing to do outside cause everything is pretty well frozen, put away for winter, cleaned up etc. But the dogs and I have been enjoying our daily walks here there and everywhere while we can. I already have received 4 Christmas cards, so must write cards, must write cards.....
Judy and Joan. Saw your posts about getting scooters to run around on when you are traveling. I've had three myself. Loved my 125cc scooter and yes, it was enough power for the highway as long as there are reasonable speed limits like 55 max. One thing to keep in mind with an electric scooter or bike. Check on the different states laws reagarding their operation in state campgrounds if you happen to be staying in one. I don't know about private campgrounds. But here in MI for example, you cannot operate an electric bike or scooter unless it's legally licensed for operation on the highway. State park roads are considered state roads and therefore licensed vehicles are the only types allowed to be operated on them. I know it sounds crazy, but that's the way it is. Exceptions are made for those who are using scooters for handicapped purposes though, like electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters etc.
Not sure just where today is going to lead around here. Need to run the vacum and sweep the floors I know. Will probably work on my Christmas letter for a bit this morning. Also going to run down to the township hall and pay my property taxes. We pay taxes twice a year here. Might get a call from the park supervisor too as the park's truck is down the road here at the auto garage getting the plow fixed and might possibly be ready for pickup today. He needs a ride from the park down to get it. Told him he could call me if he wanted to as there's nobody at the park now but him.
Enough jabbering here for the morning. One does not accomplish anythlng when one does not get moving. Have a nice day all.
