Good Tuesday Morning!

Days like this, there is not enough coffee in the world...

I'm glad summer is over (I certainly spent enough time complaining about it, and it definitely was a complainable summer, with its record-breaking heat and drought).
As they say, be careful of what you wish for, for now we suddenly have temps in the 20's and snow flurries. Still, I think cold weather is better; you can at least escape from it. That's harder to do when it's hot.

Today was the day I was to give notice at work, but after a long discussion last night we've decided I should hang on a month or two longer. It's a humongous step, this retirement thing, and not something to be hasty about. It'll take a little emotional readjustment though, because for weeks now I've been saying to myself "December 6! December 6!" More coffee, please.

Good Morning Megan... yes coffee is good here is another cup for you... It is cool here at 33 but tomorrow it will be 21 so bask in the warm temperatures...

the nurse called yesterday and I can try to take the boot off on the 15th... if all goes well it can stay off... never in my life have I heard of such a thing... gurrrrrrrrr a big toe having to be taken care of... however when I take the boot off I can feel it a lot... the cold is getting into my bones...

I am putting things by my door that need to go to the motor home... she is sitting there cold and lonely now but one of these days soon she will be rolling down the road... every time I go out Shadow things it is time to go!!

I went to my daughter's Sunday for dinner... it was good to be out and about...

I need to get my hair cut and also take shadow to the groomer... but hopefully I will put that off until next week...
Enjoy this day where ever your feet take you...
Kathleen

It's cold in South Louisiana too but not in the 20's. I think they are predicting 3 night at 32. Our weather man said that if the low that's over Texas would come East instead of going Northeast we might get snow. No thank you, I don't want any snow. Glad Texas has finally received some rain.

I would probably still be working if they hadn't closed the office where I worked. We knew for a year and a half that the office was going to close so by the time it got to the end I had pretty well had enough. I didn't look for another job. Thought I might get to do more traveling but that hasn't happened. In this economy and the health insurance issues retirement is a big decision. I worked for 30 years so I wouldn't have to work when I was 70. Hope that pans out.

Kathleen, I broke a toe earlier this year and never did go to the doctor. It must have taken 6 months before I quit feeling it. Probably should have taken better care of it. I can still aggravate it if I do a lot of walking. Don't be too quick to take the boot off.
