SUNNY SUNDAY IN ORLANDO

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Another pretty FL sunny, warm day down here! Turkeys made a sweep through the lawns, grabbing bugs for breakfast, ibisis are fishing in the pond, fish are jumping, blackbirds are squawking, and all in all, it's beautiful out there.

Today I will go to Sea World and discover what is there now, find out if I can ride my bike there and have a safe place to park/lock it up, and put my name in the employment center there for part-time work. Maybe I can pick up some cash for the holidays. I would love to do something with any animals, even if it was just picking up poop somewhere!

Breakfast is coffee, and perhaps I will have a couple of hard-boiled eggs and bacon to give me the energy to hoof it around Sea World.

I was thinking I have my father and his insightful house-buying those many years ago for my being able to have this place to come to in the winters. He really made a fine move there after my mother died. Thank you, Daddy, for this perfect spot!

I am awaiting my marriage certificate proving my name change from my birth certificate so I can get my FL ID card. Then I will be able to afford exploring all these fine FL State Park Campgrounds, too.

Time to get dressed, and head out! Have a wonderful Sunday, y'all!

Good Morning Nasoosie and Kathleen -

Sea World sounds like fun - I went to the West Coast one years ago and have fond memories of it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the employment pans out.

Our Thanksgiving shakedown trip went perfectly, except that we came home to rain and the good ship Cougar is now stuck in the driveway mud! But we learned a lot and enjoyed a lot, and got more confidence that we may be able to pull off this full-timing thing after all.

I hope your Thanksgiving holidays all went well - take a deep breath, Christmas and New Year's will be here before we know it!

- Megan

Good morning from sunny SD...but only 22*. We had our first skiff of snow yesterday, not enough to amount to anything except to make the roads a little slick. Trying to decide if I'm going to go Christmas shopping today or hold off for another week or do it all online!

Going to have a busy week. I received a call that my 66 year old cousin in Belle Fourche had a heart attack while he was shoveling snow. The funeral is Wednesday at 10:00 in Belle which is 375 miles. My sister and I are going but neither of us like driving in the dark so we're leaving Tuesday morning and staying in Belle that night, going to the funeral and leaving shortly after. We're going to drive half way home and then finish the trip on Thursday. Since I hit and killed two deer one morning in December several years back I have been very nervous about night driving. I tend to agree with a Maxine quip from last week "if the days get any shorter it hardly makes sense to get out of bed" I have a tendency to turn into a hermit during the winter months...home and work...repeat. Doesn't make for much news on my end of the spectrum so therefore I don't post much...but am always reading what the rest of you are doing!

Hope all of you have an enjoyable day!

Love that!! So agree with it!

Soos, Hope you have a great time at SeaWorld today! I went to that one many years ago with my girlfriend down there, on my birthday in January. Just about froze to death but we had a great time anyways! The ice cream vendors were selling hot chocolate instead!
I have been wanting to go to SeaWorld here too. It is just a half hour away from me here. They have a deal going on right now that if you buy a ticket for one day, you get an annual pass for all of 2012! I might have to do that! Maybe that is what I will do on Christmas Day!

I have the day off today and my roommate is having an 18th birthday party for her daughter, Delaney, at Torrey Pines State Beach today, so will be getting ready for that soon. It is very cool today, with a high of 60, but sunny. We actually have a frost advisory for tonight and tomorrow night with lows around 32.
Luckily, we missed out on all the Santa Anna winds they had up in LA this past week! We were supposed to get them too but they moved inland further north. The damage up in LA reminded me of the tornado and straight line wind damage we'd see in the midwest! So sad to see so many large trees blown down and the damage to cars and homes.

Have a great day where ever you are!

Good afternoon,

It is 74 F and cloudy here this early Sunday afternoon. Chimes are chiming from the nice breeze.

I am fully recooperated from last weeks flu diagnosis. It feels great to feel energized again. I can't believe I am saying this, but I am looking forward to returning to work. Okay, it would be better if I was heading off to an RV adventure.

Have a great day!
