Good Morning,

Another month is upon us. And being the second to last month of the year, it means the holiday season will also be upon us before we know it. For those who celebrate those days with family and friends, this lovely news will probably throw you into a panic

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving this year as it will be totally different. My friend Brenda and I will be up in the western part of Michigan Upper Peninsula, enjoying the holiday and also seeing some beautiful country. She has never been up in that part of Michigan before, so it will be a treat for her. I havea number of places I am hoping to take her to.

Finished up my burlap work yesterday afternoon, while the sun was shining and everything was dry. Nice to have that done for another year. Now it's just puttery stuff to do outside when the weather cooperates. Rain moving in again tomorrow. And carpet cleaner is coming also, bright and early at 8:30, so will have to get moving first thing in the morning.

For right now it's time to get this day rolling. Wish a wonderful day for all of you today.

Sun is shining bright here this morning and it isn't too cold. It's going to be mid sixties by afternoon!! My neighbor and I are going to get persimmons & apples this afternoon, I LOVE persimmons and will try freezing some. One of our friends has several trees on his property plus unsprayed apples. I'll make him an apple crisp as payment.
I haven't been for my walk yet, had to go pick up my Sienna van at the garage. I found out yesterday I needed 4 news tires :( when I took it in, I thought I only had one that was bad...I wish! It was riding really rough and even though the tread didn't look that worn the tires were 4 years old and she said the steel belts or something inside wore out and slipped. It does ride a lot better now and I didn't want to chance driving around on bad tires especially in the winter.
Have a safe day and enjoy.

Good Morning to All - Looks like it is going to be another beautiful day here in Arizona. Hopefully we'll get out in the desert for a ride around. Yesterday was a "bad" day for Bill - he still has them every once in a while. Spent most of the day sleeping. The Doc says he is fine but it still worries me when that happens. Some times I wonder too how the heart attack and bypass effected his thinking - and maybe his confidence. Guess as time goes on it will all take care of itself. Most days he is his old self.
Went out to Sizzler for dinner last night - haven't been to one in years. They are getting expensive.
Hope anyone who was without now has electricity. And nice weather. And safe travels to all.

Hi everyone, a beautiful day here in Ala. Heading over to Miss to the casino for a quick overnight minivacation. No, I don't spend enough to win enough to buy a new RV! Just use the coupons they give me, people watch a little, eat a good meal. carol, everyone I know who has had bypass surgery has those episodes. It does affect their thinking somehow. Im no expert but it seems ive heard it has something to do with having that macine breathing for you for awhile and that makes sense to me. But Im so glad Bill is past his surgery and out able to travel. Everyone have the best of days! Wendy

RABBITS! (okay, that's done ... )

We had an unseasonably warm Halloween night ... and this morning it's freakin' SNOWING. Utah. Glad I remembered at the last minute to close my car windows last night.

Was ready to load up my little ATV trailer with "stuff" today, and head to the warmth of the red-rock country for the season. Maybe tomorrow. Roomie and I gave the lawn a "high-and-tight" yesterday ... so it's ready for the winter.

Carol, I have a recording of a post-bypass comedy show by Robin Williams. A BIG part of it was his emotional response was the surgery. He joked about mood swings, bursting into tears and accused the doctors of giving him a vagina!

Well, I've given up on my quest to buy my BIL's little studio condo. We're too far apart on price, and he started sounding frustrated when I suggested we split the cost of an appraisal. My friendship with him is more important than a real estate deal, so I let him off the hook to either sell or rent it.

I don't know what's happened to my little Kiwi dog. For so long I had to coax her to eat, she was skin and bones and slept all the time. Now she has a terrific appetite and is bouncy and happy. What changed? Who knows. I'll take it.

Howdy all -
Y'all know I don't always check in. My life's busy and I don't always make it.
We're ramping up for a major presentation show at work, and I just didn't look at the site since some time sunday.
Came back and just now read all the fine words of support from everybody. Really had me teared up.
It's good to know I've got lots of support. You all are fine folks, and I'm proud to know ya.

Annie, if "another nice thing in life's been blown" it really wasn't such a nice thing. But let's hope that it truly was and he comes around.

Yah, there's a part of me that says I'm glad I found out right away what sort he is, and that's why I tell people right off. But at the same time I'm willing to give folks a while to sort out their feelings, and I get it's particularly complex for a guy who'se
dating me.
