Good morning y'all,

A bit of southern talk there this this morning. Cloudy out this morning here and gonna stay that way today and tomorrow as well. Oh well, that time of year.

Not sure what I am getting into today. Plan to run vacum and also clean bathroom. Kinda just pick up the house a little. and there are two dogs here who are on both sides of me, nudging me, pawing at me etc. Get the drift they want to do something?Like maybe get in the truck and go someplace or at least go for a nice long walk  Well, they were cooped up in the house all day yesterday due to rain, so..... We will do something later on.

Hit Hobby Lobby again yesterday and picked up a bunch of small letter packs, so now am all set for scrapbooking. When they have these sales, which they always do, one can make out like a bandit. Want to make sure I have enough variety to start putting this years trips into the book and since I am taking it with my on my upcoming trip, I need to make sure I have the stuff before I leave. Actually I may even start it before then :) I also brought home, some old picnic table boards from the park that we took off for various reasons and am going to make some signs with them this winter. The are stained on one side but are grey, weathered wood on the other. Now that they have been in my garage and dried out, they will make good signs on that grey side. Haven't got many boards, just 4. Maybe camping signs for the various seasons. I deas will come eventually. And I might actually haul out a jigsaw puzzle this winter too. Haven't done one in a long time.

Speaking of winter, it looks like it has arrived in CO. And also seems like the Northeast may have some snow as well. Then there is Hurricane Rina who looks to be making a turn and heading for FL. Now that will mess up a lot of "snowbirds" plans. May be people on the move out of harm's way, but too early to tell yet. I know we have some "sistahs" down in FL, so hope they keep us informed along the way.

So guess this is all the news here this mornng. Had a bowl of cereal and some strawberries. Come on, sit down and have a chat over coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Have a great day all.

GOOD MORNING SUE AND ALL!

Thirty-five degrees here this morning, and still grey. No sign of snow yet, however. All is well today, and we have plans to go to WalMart to get Skype cameras for all our family members----3 cameras, one for me, one for Joe and Mandy and Orion, and one for Weldon and Melissa. I am hoping that will work for us all. My laptop is old, but I'm hoping it will work. If not----shudder----I may have to look at laptops as well.

Pete is down in the Orlando repair shop parking lot for service today, and I hope they can fix him up like new. Anita is a traveling maniac, Sue is working herself silly around her house, Kathleen is on the road headed back to her house, and no news from Liz yet this morning. I was really looking for some news from her.

I hope things are going well for all, and that this fall season is full of colors, crispness, clear night skies, a hint of snow in the air, and the smell of woodsmoke. Of course, those in the desert might have none of those fally things, other than clear night skies! The call of geese flocking together also makes the air resound with fall.

Coffee is hot, so stop in and tell us what's up. Perhaps Beth is on the road today, as well, as this was the day she was to take off from her long-time workcamper job in PA. I hope all went well at the Ford dealer for her.

Yes, cloudy in KY too. On the lookout for Bethers to arrive today or tomorrow. Saw JoanE and Maggie when I took Gus for his morning walk. Tomorrow is my first day off this week and of course it is supposed to rain all day. I'm still thinking about going up to Harrodsburg to see the Amish village. Have always enjoyed the Mennonite shops in Lawrenceburg, TN. Oooooh shopping!! and Friday is payday. Need I say more???

My last day at lake Mead and it's windy, overcast and even had a little rain...I haven't seen this type of weather literally for months...I am really enjoying this; even have my fleece jacket on.

I have made a few buddies here at this RV park. We went swimming, out to lunch, out to dinner, and to a church yard sale, it will be sad to leave them...but that is part of this lifestyle...meeting people in snippets...I like that.

I saw my first "road-runner", what a kick; it ran licketty-split across the road down the little bank as though a wiley ol coyote was after it. There is a mocking bird here in the park and it apparently has spent some time at a goat ranch...it bleets just like a goat. I sure am enjoying the new plants, birds and other critters.

Well, it's after noon and I'm still trying to make myself go to Walmart. If I wait too long I have to stay in town for the Weight Watcher's meeting and put my cold stuff in an ice chest.

I went out this morning and the trees around the house were full of black birds making the biggest noise. I don't remember ever seeing them do that before. Reminded me of the birds movie. Maybe they were trying to get a flock together. To do what I don't know.

KD, that's what's great about RVing. We have friends all over. You never know when you might run into them again.

Hope Beth got out of the repair shop. I really like my Ford dealership. The waiting room has 2 computers you can use, a room with toys, free coffee and hot chocolate, vending machines. I can spend several hours with no problem. They would even bring me somewhere and go back and pick me up. I'm sure we pay for that but beats the one in Abbeville where they put you in a small room with uncomfortable chairs and 5 year old magazines.

I've been at the vet's almost all day...posted in the pet section. Can't say it twice.
My own dr. appt. went fine and I'm good for another year there.
Went to the mall and upgraded my MiFi to 3G/4G while Roe was being checked out.
Got propane, gas, and dumped.
That's my day. I'm tired, but going to church tonight.

Boy, that sounds like a depressing post :!:
