It's Saturday

Goooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Fernies right it's a chilly one this morning dang! 36 on the back porch, I would like to know where the heck Yahoo Weather gets their temp readings from. Altho they are closer this morning saying it's 40. Brrrrr left my button up sweatshirt in the Blazer yesterday so had to use a thinner zip up hoodie this morning good thing I threw on a sweatshirt with my jammie bottoms. No peepers brave enough or foolish enough to be out there this morning. Their all snugged up in their little hidey holes and the birds aint making a sound yet either. Need a good warm fire this morning for sure!

Well today is our Monday at work. Yippie We will work until Thursday then Kelly and I are off for a little bit of weekend camping. We will do a mad scramble on the housework come Friday morning then pack and leave. I think she and I both need this weekend getaway!!

Well it's time to get dressed and ready for that nasty place. It's a crappy place to work but at least it's a job and paycheck. Which is more that what a lot of people have going for them.

Coffee is waiting, smells really good this morning and I picked up some donuts to share. Come on in.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe!

Love to all

good morning
coffee and donuts, mmmmm what a great way to start the day, I love donuts!
I only have one special thing planned today, and that is to tear the house apart
to find my checkbook. It seems to be mia, it was on top of the computer and I
think the dog (probably Gracie) snatched it and ran with it, if I don't find it today,
I will assume that I picked it up myself and left it in the car and it got stolen.
Hope that is not the case but ya can't help when wonder when something disappears
and you don't use it but once every two weeks.
I hear the coffee stopped dripping so getting a cup of fresh brew and off to cruise
the forum. Have a great day in what ever you do and be safe.

Raining in the Fort Smith, AR area this morning.....thunder woke us both up..... :o So we've been watching the TV and having our coffee.....Probably hang out, Ernie reading a book or on the laptop, and me working on another baby afghan today......We feel right at home here....nice folks and things are easy, so far, to find.....

Okay, Echo, try to have a good day at work.....just keep saying..."going camping Friday.....going camping Friday......." hopefully, that will get you and Kelly thru the week..... ;)

Ava, have you found that darn checkbook, yet......?? Our Sandy would always hide things in the corners of the room.....maybe there ;)

Have a great day, All!!

Morning gals! it's raining!!!! yay!!! The air is heavenly. Still dark outside, but I stood on the back porch for a couple minutes to soak it in. Today I have nephews coming over, making "breakfast pizza" for them and then we will try again to make friends with a stray German sheppard that showed up yesterday. He is beautiful but very afraid. I got some yummy dog food for him so hopefully that will help bring him in. When I called the humane society yesterday they said this guy was the fourth one for them this week.

Good luck finding the checkbook Ava. The last thing I lost was evidently put safely, by me, in the silverware drawer. No memory of that!

Have a fun day..

Good Morning! I'm sitting here drinking my mug of Irish Creme flavored coffee. It's 49 this morning and sunny and suppose to get up to 73 with mild wind....so I have an agenda for the day....all my bedding and rugs are going to get washed and hung on the line to dry because I doubt I'll have a lot more Saturdays that will be this nice. I'm giving myself a treat this coming week...taking Thursday and Friday off and I also have Monday off for Columbus/Native American Day. It's been ages since I have had five days away from work. Probably the reason I'm going to work my fingers to the bone today...so I have some loaf time then. The single obligation I have during those days is taking a friend to the dentist on Thursday. She has to have some oral surgery and needs someone to drive her home. I was getting a jump start on the laundry last night and about 10:00 when I took a load out to hang on the line it was so nice that I decided to sleep in the 5er! Have a good day...
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Mtngal is joining the Texas GTG, hipee, that makes nine of us. Sure miss Barbzeees morning update and hope she's felling better. Have a great day.

geeesh,..guess I'd better say "good morning" before it turns 6 p.m.! haha..... The day flew by,... first I went out to b'fast with a friend, then went to school to work at my tax collector desk for several house,... (still catching up on the stacks and stacks of checks that came in by 9/30,...) and then home to grab a bite to eat and fall asleep in the recliner! Woke up two hours later,.... guess I was pretty tired.

So, the coffees all gone,... so are the donuts,... but I'm smiling,... going to go to kitchen and raid the frige for some left over meatloaf ... yummy! See ya all tomorrow!
