Goooooood Morning everybody!

Brrrrrr, dang it's a bit nipplie out on my back porch. Took Shade out and WOW, it's between 34 and 35 out there. Almost came in to get a blankie to wrap up in. I keep wondering if we are gonna have a early cold winter? I know that the geese sure have been doing fly overs for the past 2 1/2 to 3 weeks here. Wondering if they know something we might want to know?

Today is our Friday cause we have tomorrow off then work until Thursday of next week. And then we have a 3 day weekend. WoooHooo We are going camping, gonna call and make the reservations tomorrow. We are so excited. Gonna take the laptop with us, don't know if the campground will have wifi or not? But my Sprint air card is still good so will take that just in case. :D

Well the coffee pot has done it's thing this morning and sure does smell good. So come on grab yourselves a cup. I can do more up if need be.

Hope everyone has a great day, stays warm and stays safe.

Love to all

It's 36 here this morning. Yep we've been told by the conservation officer that he sees signs of a rough winter. Skunks are digging up lawns looking for grubs and he says thats a big sign...plus another one...that I can't remember right now because I suffer from severe bouts of CSR!

Morning all - it is cold here too - don't know the signs of how winter is going to be - just know we won't be here. Will probably leave for warmer climates around the first of November.
Had to go out yesterday and buy some warm long pants. I got rid of all of mine when we moved from Vegas as I had gained so much weight. Now that they would fit again don't have them. Oh well, shopping! The tourists are starting to show up in doves, but not too much change in the leaves as of yesterday. Imagine this week will do it though with the cold nights. Bill is fit to be tied. The solar panels he ordered before we left on vacation were just shipped yesterday. And we have reservations again next week. So guess they won't get put on until we get back next time.

good morning ladies, ahhh coffee!!!!
nothing special goin on for me today, just another workday, one more and we're
on fall break so just working on cleaning my bus for the fall inspection next week.
Rumor has it they are going to be really really critical of the cleanliness of the
buses. Gotta make sure I get all the gum up out of hidden little places and not
miss an inch. Now, kids are not allowed to eat on the bus but they do it anyway
and shove food wrappers down in the seats. Gotta clean the black soot off the
upper parts around the windows, do windows, floor and dust everything. Did
all that but will go over it again before I park the bus on friday.
Ok, I'm out'a here, have a great day and be safe.

Good morning all. Mornings here are finally getting cool - not cold, just nice and cool. Someone spoke of geese flying overhead - that's why I left Douglas Wyoming in August. There were lots of geese leaving and flying south and I figured they knew something I didn't so I got out of "Dodge", too.

I've sent out a couple of resumes for next summer but haven't heard back from anyone yet. Right now am really enjoying NOT having to get up early and be anywhere except my computer in the mornings. Sometime before the end of this month I need to disconnect and go get my rig safety inspected. What a pain!!!! Its actually not so much disconnect the 3 things outside, its securing ALL the loose stuff inside that happens when you're parked for a while.

Am also beginning to REALLY look forward to getting the election over with - no matter who you vote for - am sick of all the political ads on TV.

Well, the dogs are sitting at the door staring at me. Guess I need to go do my duty. Hope you all have a great day.

Hey, I'm saying gm while it's still morning!

Slept in till after 8 - ah, I love that - Then walked Peaches to the beach. I should start carrying my camera all the time like some do, but I know I won't. Reason I say that is I could have gotten an up close and personal picture of a Texas centipede. I'd don't know if they are indiginous to TX, but I'd never seen one like it before. A couple weeks ago, though, I was warned that they have a very painful bite, and if bitten, it will hurt for months! The dang thing was 6-8' long! And I kept a wide berth of him and kept Peaches away also. Luckily I guess they only bite if disturbed, so I don't plan to disturb any if I can help it.

We walked the beach for about an hour, maybe longer. That is so calming for me, and Peaches runs in and out of the water and keeps trying to chase the birds. She's now napping - will stay down all day, most likely.

Have a great day all!
