Herschel, Remi and Peaches have been walked and they all visited with many of Peaches friends here at LIW. Now us hoomans are "abandoning" them for a day of sightseeing.

Make your own coffee and rolls - as we are about to rock and roll. Maybe one of us will remember to take some pics today.

Good Morning sounds like a fun day Beth... I have coffee but not much more... we have a heat warning not sure why it will only be in the high 80s today but 90s tomorrow... guess they want to be sure people do not stay outside to long...
Stop by and let us know what is up in your little corner of the world...

THURSDAY BEFORE THE FAMILY COMES

GOOD MORNING ALL!

It's a beautiful day in upstate NY too, and my last day to get things shipshape before the games begin!

I spent over 40 dollars at the laundromat yesterday, washing bedding, quilts, curtains, etc.-----a fact that totally blew my mind! It took over 10 rolls of quarters to feed those danged machines! The last time I did a laundry, it was 50 cents per machine and a dime for five minutes of drying. Now the washing machines are $2.50 per machine, and a quarter for five minutes of drying time! Incredible.

Vacuum the shelter today, rehang the curtains at the cabin, empty the pickup's bed to make room for supplies from Sam's Club tomorrow and allow the four of us to travelhome from the airport tomorrow night. Make chili for tomorrow night's dinner!

Coffee is hot and giving me the energy to get on with my day! OH----my blood pressure was NORMAL yesterday at the doc's! I felt as if I had been given a new lease on life! YIPPEE!

good morning ladies, thanks for opening the coffee room Soos. Laundry is sure expensive up your way, ours is just 1.50 a wash load and
that just recently went up and they don't even have hot water! Love my little portable I bought for my rv, but of course it doesn't do the big stuff like quilts. I've spent my fair share of time contemplating how women did laundry in big tubs of hot water over a fire many years ago. The washing machine was truly a great invention.
Not a whole lot to do for me today, just a run to the store and thats about it. Right now I'm filling up the tub for a very long soaking hot bath, it will certainly feel good!
Ready for a refill on my coffee and check a little email and my facebook page.
Enjoy your day and be safe.
