WHERE HAS JUNE GONE???

GOOD MORNING ALL!
As for yesterday morning and most of the day yesterday, my internet service was out, and I called Verizon to have that restored. I guess the whole area had an outage, and it came back on in the afternoon-----very happy to get reconnected!
I finally got my leaky water connectors fixed, thanks to the neat new RV dealers about 3 miles from me, in downtown Vermontville! First, they got me two new washers which I tried, and those didn';t work any better. So I determined it was the screw-on connectors themselves that were leaking. I returned the washers, and the night before last they ordered a replacement section of hose with new connectors. They called me last night to come pick it up! Talk about fast service! I installed it (on my back with headlamp on, under bathroom sink----one connector facing one way, and the other facing the other way----and in this upside-dwon and backwards position, I had to re-program my brain the pertinent version of "left-loosey, righty-tighty" PRESTO! No leaking, so I now have a good water hookup in the trailer! I can attach a length of sewer pipe and run the grey water down the hill away from the well, and have hot water for dishes, hand-washing, tooth brushing, showers, baths, whatever. I was very excited to get that chore done.
Less than a week now before the family begins to arrive----I pick up Goog and Melissa at Plattsburgh Airport Friday. I sure hope to have everything in this house and in both trailers and the party barn and the shelter all spiffied up and shipshape by then! I made a lot of progress yesterday. If it stops raining long enough, this lawn needs another mowing, of course. Nice, slow, steady rain, however----no gully-washers and no lightning storms yet, anyway.
Coffee is hot and hazlenut, so stop by and talk to us for a bit!
