HAPPY SUMMER!

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
At one something this afternoon, summer will be officially here! I have always thought it was such a gyp that, just when it's beginning to get warmer and sort of hot and when the daylight is at its longest, suddenly we begin the long trek toward the shortest day of the year in December. It takes our earth climate a while to catch up with the length of the days. I guess this is a good thing, but I so love the daylight.
I dropped my little piece of hose with the two connectors at the RV dealer's here in town yesterday, to see if there is anything he can do to replace the washers or perhaps the entire screw-ons so that it won't leak when I put it back in here in the trailer. I also bought two slabs of plywood to make a pad for the old trailer which I will try to move to its summer position today. If it works for that, I will get two more for this trailer so I have an easier time of parking it when I get home after a camping trip.
Next on the list is getting the party barn ready for company, followed by tackling the other bedroom upstairs so that can be ready to sleep someone over the fourth celebration.
I also picked up my new prescription drug dosage for my high blood pressure yesterday, but am afraid to take it for the first time until the kids get back here, in case it makes me feel faint or sick, or whatever. I always hate to try new chemicals in my body. My body is used to high blood pressure, and the doubling up of the dose to get the pressure down might be a complete shock for it. I am quite sure I was born with high blood pressure. But I do want to live for at least another 40 years, or so!
Hope your weather is as pleasant as it is up here in the mountains this morning. This morning's temperature is 50, compared to the 38 it got down to at about 5:00 am yesterday. By 8:00 yesterday, the temperature was back up to a beautiful 60 degrees, or so, and became a nice, warm, sunny day. Cool nights and warm days suit me just fine! The black flies have already mostly gone, although the pesky deer flies are still voracious! The noseeums don't like the cool nights, and so they don't bother much, either.
Lenora, I hope your dizziness gets over with soon----I, too, suffer from that, and it's very dibilitating. It can cause a panic attack in me sometimes, which just exacerbates the whole thing. Thinking of the guy with the liver spot, too, and sending good wishes his way.
Glad I don't have to deal with AC problems here in the mountains, but am sure hoping my FL AC holds out for at least one more year as the temps down there have been record-breakingly high since I left. That unit is over 30 years old, and was working like a champ when I left.
Housework/destuffing/organizing/cleaning and all that stuff makes me extremely allergic, too! ACK! But that's where I am headed for another couple of weeks here!
Happy first day of summer to all!
