Another beautiful day here in PA, I'm off for work in a few but got the coffee, hot chocolate, juice and a variety of breakfast foods out for all.

Have a great day - whether home or on the road ... it's all good.

Good morning ladies!

It was a busy weekend again. I almost feel like I have to go to work so I can relax. Saturday I got our weekly shopping done, and went to my parents house and took my mother grocery shopping and did some things around the house for them. The rest of the weekend was spent working on getting the ground turned over and got our veggie plants in the ground. We finally finished that yesterday afternoon. Oh, my aching back. But it will be so worth it when the veggies start coming on. We also got the grass cut and I did some work in our formal garden, but there's still lots more to do out there.

Have a good day & take care.

Good Morning... we have cloudy skies and breezy conditions here in Normal... We have gone from a cold rainy spring to wow a hot summer for this week... mid 80s... go figure!!
Yesterday was a good day went to church then out to dinner with my daughter Margie and grandsons Tim and Pete... Scot went along also... he has become our adopted son as he is now staying with Margie while he goes to ISU... he came back from Japan right after the tsunami and earth quake...
No huge plans for today just sorting some more things from the MH it has been to wet and cold to do it until now...
Drive with care on the roads... thank you for letting us know your status Carolyn... I hope your home is not damaged much by the rising waters...
Kathleen

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Back in Orlando again, after a fun weekend with the kids. I have no plans other than watering my plants and then going to the pool for a swim. We partied hearty over the weekend, so I might even take a brief snooze----something I never do!

It's hot today, but nice and breezy, so I have my doors and windows open to allow the air to pass on through.

Happy Monday to al!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

And hello to Monday :) . It's been a rainy, windy, cold and over all a crappy morning here! Blech!!! Had plans to work outside a little this morning picking up and putting things away that didn't get done the other day, really not much left to do outside tho. Need to go do the restrooms one last time too. Today things will have to be put away inside the trailer. Ya'll know how it goes, ;) what's out has to go in and what's up has to come down! Not planning on anything much for supper just sandwiches so that we won't have any dirty dishes rattling around. Tomorrow we pull out of here and to up on the rock and go back to work. YAY!! Paychecks!  We will be back to earning and will still be short of money for probably 2 or 4 weeks, just playing catch up. ;) Our first paychecks will be small as we wont have in all that many hours so we won't get full checks until the end of the month. Kelly and I both are looking forward to going to St George to shop and be able to say "Kiss our grits" to the grocery stores here in town. Gods they are so freaking expensive on foodstuffs here! And now that the summer traveling season is starting the prices are going up to rake in all them tourist dollars.

Yesterday was quiet for us. Wouldn't let Kelly get me anything for Mothers Day as I just didn't want her to spend the money on anything. My son actually remembered and called to wish me a Happy Mothers Day!!! I admit I had to ask him who reminded him??? He has a bad problem with memory from injuries while with the Army in Iraq. He "told me" that no one reminded him? Hmmmm? I just know something did!  Could have knocked me over with a feather in shock when he said he was calling from Denver CO!!! Seems like his buddy needed a mechanic he could totally trust so paid for David to fly out there to fix his jeep! Goofy guy!!! Honestly I think it would have been cheaper by far to simply take it to a jeep dealer and have them fix it. After he finishes the jeep the both of them are heading back to TN. With both of them driving it wont be take them to long to get there. Would have been super awesome if they could have come down this way but wasn't gonna happen! It's 610mls from Denver to here and David wants to be home by the weekend as he hopes to get Conner for the whole weekend.

OK, time to take Shade out and then get busy on stuff. Hope ya'll have a fantastic day and that everyone stays safe!!!

Love to all

More a "good night" than morning post.
My sister is still doing well so Liz and I left Huntsville around 9:15 this morning. We arrived at Carolinagal's about 6:00 tonight. It was a long day but we had great sunny weather, tho hot.
Had to plan our route to avoid little towns/communities that were wiped out by tornados. We could not go shorter way to the NE thur DeKalab County, AL; next best thing took us southeast all the way to Rome, GA before we could turn back north toward Carol's. Made for a very long trip. Each of us has a GPS and they still got us lost briefly and did not want to go the routes we choose.
Liz has already crashed for the night and I'm about to do the same.

Footnote on pets in tornado
Morning news in Huntsville reported that animal rescue groups were flying dogs/cats from AL to NY and CT as so many displaced by storms and all the local animal shelters were overwhelmed by large number of lost pets.
