GOOD MORNING ALL!
The sun is coming up, the birds are singing, and the tree frogs and pond frogs have gone to bed for the daytime heat. We got about two drops of rain yesterday right here, although other places not too far away got some hail, lightning, and some rain. We desperately need rain. I am tired of hauling my leftover bath water out to the plants in the yard by the heavy bucketfuls. We are charged for incoming and outgoing household water (water and sewer) so, rather than just letting it go down the drain uselessly, I transport it to my plants. I have another meter and faucet for outdoor watering, for which I would not be charged sewer fees, but the inground automatic irrigation system my father installed years ago has now deteriorated and leaks constantly underground. Hence, I have that outside metered section shut off. Some day, I will try to get that repaired, or bypassed, so I can have my outside faucets running on non-sewer-fee water for yard use. For now, bath water seems to suffice! I do use a faucet attached to house water out there on occasion, too, when I am too lazy to haul the water.
Today will be a pool day this afternoon, with the walk happening this morning. I will also take a bike ride after the walk. I need to buy some eggs to hardboil for decorating this weekend, and get a few groceries to take for the Easter picnic the kids and I will have on their property. My biggest chore for the trailer back there is to get my empty propane tank refilled for the trip home.
I also plan to try some chlorox bleach on the side of the house where mildew and mud has splashed up making it look icky. That will be chore number one before the sun gets higher and hotter.
Another bad tornado touched down somewhere yesterday, as I just saw on the news, so still keep a wary eye to the skies wherever you may be. Happy Wednesday!
