God Morning,

Appears that I am the only one around this morning, so guess I will start the coffee so the rest of you can join me whenever.

A damp morning here at the 45th. We had some thunderstorms move through early this morning and dumped some good rain. Temps are into the upper 40's but the atmosphere is warmer and it's causing the snow piles to create fog. Supposed to clear out and become partly sunny with highs into possible 70's. Another wave of severe weather is expected later this evening if storms develop in WI, like they think they will. Whether we get them here remains to be seen. Might be a squall line of fast moving storms they say. Some areas along the west side of the state below me here had anywhere from pea size to golf ball size hail this morning and awind gust of 79 was reported on shore in one location near Lake Michigan. These storms fell apart as they came farther inland due to the cooler air. So looks like spring is up to her usual shenanigans.

So, I guess today I will finish gathering the garage sale stuff together or possible work on the cupboard doors in the TT while the weather is warm. First I am going to have to go get some hinges and some stain. The doors for the cabinet over the bed are a bit shorter than the opening is, so am going to have to insert a piece of wood in there. Can be done. Also have to cut out the opening as well. But will mount the doors first and get the piece of wood cut to size, stained and put in place before I do any cutting. I like projects like this.

Accomplished quite a bit around here yesterday. Snowblowers are all washed and have fuel stabilzer in their gas tanks and put away for summer. Lawn tractor has it's battery reinstalled and is up and running, awaiting the pickup from the dealer to go over it for me this year and get it ready for cutting season. Garage has been cleaned out and reorganized. A bunch of stuff hauled over to the garage sale. Sitting chairs on deck in the corner for right now. Fountain is also out there but turned upside down for now. Needs a new pump first before I put it together. TT has been moved off the boards I had it sitting on all winter and over to it's summer parking spot. Screens that go inside some of my windows are washed and installed. Will leave outside go till after the storms and rain are over. Then after all was said and done, I BBQ'd some Baby Back ribs on the grill. Yummmm. Finally took the girls for their walk after dinner.

So guess it's time to get moving around here. Am going to Lowe's to get the hinges and look at some wood to do the project with. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone, wherever you may be.

Good morning ladies, we had such a good heavy rain last evening that everything is still
wet, but the sun is shining and it won't take long to dry out. Didn't get any laundry done
yesterday so its off the laundry room this morning. I went to Home Depot yesterday and
got the timber needed to build a "loft" shelf over my bed since we have the cathedral
ceilings in here, I saw it as wasted space :D It will certainly help me get my room organized
and I'll have much more floor space for the girls to play and run around. Speaking of which...
I think Pixie had a seizure during the night as she crawled out of bed and seemed a little
off and went into her kennel and in my dream state I think I heard lots of noise. She was
still in there this morning and thats just not like her to sleep in her kennel. She seems fine
this morning other than still sleeping but a few moments ago she crawled up into the bed
with Gracie. They have yet to get up and ask for breakfast. Seems I'm going to have to
wake them up myself.
Time for my coffee refill and do the breakfast thing, then its off to the laundry room.
Enjoy your day and hope someone at least as some good weather.

Wow, we have a beautiful morning here on the Texas Gulf Coast. Here we have our friend Sprinter (Sharon) having a cup-o-joe at the beach.

and the shrimpers are still shrimping....we had some last night so we know it is good.

You can catch up on what has gone on since Sharon arrived over at the GTG.

Looks like we are going to have a brunch of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy.

A bit breezy on the coast as always, but not a bunch of white caps yet. birds are singing and the forecast is for 20% chance of rain. So of course, right now with the sun no one is thinking rain.

Hope anyone on the road has a safe journey. If you are parked hope you have some fun today.

I had plans to do some stuff outside today...but the weather here is not cooperating. The extended forecast does not look good..so far it shows rain the next 15 days. The May flowers better be awesome with all the April Showers are are getting.

I guess today I will finish up the inside of the house. Left 2 "adult boys" at home over the spring break week. That would be the hubby and the my 19 year old. I cleaned the house when I left..but did not come home to a clean house. They did have the living room picked up...There are little things I do everyday or 2-3 times a week. They do not notice those things...the bathrooms :( I think they need review lessons on how to clean things. Hubby said he cleaned the bathrooms once...I wonder what his interpretation of clean is??

Well I should get off here, need to clean, balance the checkbook, pay the bills, get lesson plans done for the next few weeks.

GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL!

What fun to have another mini GTG! Wish I could have been there....that campground looks beautiful! I wish we had some like that in the east, but we have very few of those guv'mint campgrounds!

It's hovering close to 100 here today, but with a nice breeze and a perfect pool to cool off in right outside the trailer. I had to turn on the AC in the trailer to keep Molly from cooking in there, however! It is working perfectly, and feels too cold for me, no matter how much I turn it down. AC always feels too cold for me!

Time to go read the posts on here on the womens' group, and then get back into the pool! I will return to Orlando tomorow morning so I can water my poor plants back there and mail my income taxes.

46 years ago today I was in the hospital in Portland, OR, giving birth to my first-born child. I called her this morning and we had a long talk and got all caught up-----for over 30 years, I never knew where she was, if she was alive, or dead, and what she was like. I gave her up for adoption to a private couple, and I wasn't allowed to ever know the parents until Sandra Day O'Connor opened up the adoption records out there and we found each other! Thank you. Sandra!

Hope you all are having a good day wherever you are and whatever you are doing!
