ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY

Good Morning All,
Going to be yet another great day here at the 45th. Plenty of warm sunshine. Feels like spirng is finally starting to work it's way in. Snow pack is melting away, the birds are chirping in the trees, no boots, hats, gloves needed. And yesterday, the first ferry from the mainland, crossed the Straits of Mackinac to Mackinac Island. Needless to say, the islanders were glad to see it as now they can come and go. During the winter they have to either take a small plane over or use the very dangerous 'ice bridge" which forms in January when the straits freeze over. They mark the way with Christmas trees every few feet, but with a wide body of deep water like that and ever shifting currents, you never know what can happen out there. Lives have been lost when somebody has gone for supples or something, only to go through the ice. The ferries run into December and the one that went over yesterday is built stronger, so can break through what ice is left in the straits.
I've been enjoying these warm sunny days too. Open the door on my TT yesterday and just let the air in for awhile. Took out a few things to throw in the garage sale. Finished taking the rest of the burlap off my shrubs out front, ran some errands in town and also went and got my blood wwork done to check my cholesterol etc. Then out for breakfast afterwards. After 14 hours of fasting, tummy was hungry Also got some new parts for my leaf blower (sprak plug, air and fuel filters) and installed them, got the blower started and up and running for the season, then blew out the garage and my drive. Anything to stay outside. Even started my 2011 BBQ season yesteray with a BBQ'd Strip Steak. Yummmm.
So today I have my month chiropractor appt. and then will stop and get a prescriptin refill, pick up a few things at the store while I am waiting. Am thinking about taking a ride to my RV dealers and take a couple of my cupboard doors along, so they can order some more for me. I need some doors in between the ones that are there now. Too hard to reach into the storage spaces. Should have had some on to begin with. Just need to remove the light wood that's over those areas and install the doors. They girls are kind of getting to a point where they would like a little ride I think. Am thinking perhaps of stopping at the park where my boss transferred and taking them for a walk as there is not snow in that area and I think we can walk through the park. They would enjoy it. Today is supposed to be the last nice day for a bit here, so they say take advantage of it. Friday may see some rain showers in the p.m and possibly Sataurday. Sunday wlll be nice but Monday is potential storm with maybe some of the s-word stuff again. Not sure yet they say. After that looks good again.
so that's pretty well what's going on around here. Looking forward to hearing what's going on at your places, whether or not it's in an RV or a stick built. Spring and summer are coming as evidenced by the weather and folks starting to move around. Snowbirds are coming home. Spring breakers are heading south. Have a wonderful day all.
