COOLER FRIDAY MORNING
Posted: Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:22 am
Good Morning everyone,
I've been puttering around here, reading up on some of the diffferent threads, waiting for somebody to start some coffe this morning. Well, I guess since everybody's decided to sleep in, I will start it.
A bit cooler here at the 45th this morning. Althought it's 40 degrees. But a cold front came through last night and we are supposed to drop back into our more normal highs of mid 30's to mid 40's. That's still warm enough to melt snow although a bit slower. I has been in the mid to upper 50's and sunny these past couple of day and we had rain for awhile last night. So the snow has taken a beating. My backyard is clear now except for where I blew it with the blower and a some drifted areas. My front yard is down enough to have both drifts and bare ground, so I will go out and remove the last of my burlap covers from my shrubs and take off the wood covers I put over my other shrubs by my porch to keep the snow from weighing them down. Although it's cooler, once the sun gets out, it's heat will do some work. Last I heard, we may have more rain on Monday.
Well, I got my errands run yesterday. Didn't have to go to Walmart as Meijers had that same dog food this time, so I just picked it up there. Dropped my lamp off for repair and will make a trip back into town today to pick it up. Don't really want to have to make a special trip for that, but I don't want to leave it up there all weekend either. Plus my neighbor gave me a bag of stuff to take to our Catholic school as one class is gathering items to send to the troops (hand lotons, soaps, toothpaste, those types of things), So will drop that off for her.
Echo, glad to hear you have new tires for your TT. Now you will be all set to roll back to the lodge when the time comes. When are you supposed to be heading back up there anyway?
Irmi, glad your dad is doing well and out of the hospital. Hopefully he will be feeling better now that they found the cause of all the pain, but sorry he had to go through another sugery again.
This colliemom spotted what would be a perfect RV for me yesterday. A neat 21 ft. BT Cruiser. 2006 with only 32,000 miles on it. About 100 miles from me here. But..... My TT is paid for, but I am still paying down my truck loan, so no can do Oh well, there are reasons for things. Anybody looking for what looks like a really nice looking little RV, just google www.InternationalRVWorld.com, click on it's Bay City, MI link and go into the used RV's. It's back about page two or three.
Well, off to get into today's adventures. Working on my TT stove top cover, pick up the lamp, walk the dogs, etc. etc. Oh yeah, gonna add me to the camping sign, but need to go to Hobby World and get some light blue paint. Used up the last bottle doing the sign
