Good morning from sunny Florida. It's very chilly this morning, but predicted to be a warm afternoon. That'll be good for Nan and me, as we are camping. Sort of a pre-FL GTG GTG. I'll post some more pictures in the GTG section.

When the sun comes out & temps rise a little, Roe and I will take a nice hike to explore what this new-to-me State Park has to offer.

Nan and I will play some "Hand and Foot" later...she wants to learn the game so she can compete with the pros at the GTG.

Nan's new rig is really nice. I also got to see some of the clever projects she's working on.

Enjoy your day, wherever you are today.

Good morning ladies, guess I'm the second one up. Coffee is brewing, just wait a
few and it'll be ready. So much to do today, now that my whole routine and life
has changed I've got to change when and how I do things as well. Frys started
a senior discount program attached to the little scancard but you only get the
discount when you shop on wednesday so my routine saturday morning shopping
will have to change. Have to find out when Ron does his laundry so I can plan
accordingly when to do mine. I'm still scrubbing walls this weekend and hope to
get that finished and start on the carpet.
Don't know when the 2nd job will start but have to plan for that and get as much
done now as I can.
Our nights and mornings are cold now but the days are warming back up into the
mid 70's. Hope it stays that way, as I don't care to wear layers and layers of
clothing to keep warm.
Linda, working at the flea market would be great, that one out there by you is
one of the best in the metro area and everyone knows it. That 60 bucks would
be easy cash and tax free.
Time for my second cup of coffee and thinking about a little toast for my tummy
to settle the upsets. Enjoy your day ladies and be safe.

Good Morning to All - been up since 4:30 just went to bed way to early last night.
We left Vegas yesterday morning and are now in Amando, AZ about 30 miles north of the border. Long day long drive.
Ava you're right it is nippy this morning. Was warm in here last night when we went to bed.
We've stayed in this same RV park here for the last couple of years. After settling in we went to eat at the CowPlace restaurant that is just across the freeway. Excellent food always. Last night we had "All you can eat Fish and Chips" Yum. Then we got back here and both of us crashed.
The satellite went up and locked on last night with no problems. - Sure hope it keeps working.
Today we'll just mess around - get all our paper work together, change some money and relax. Either tomorrow or Monday we'll cross over for another winter in Mexico.
For any NASCAR fans I posted some more pictures from the Vegas Speedway on my blog. And a couple of pics from yesterdays trip - pics of Nothing.
Hoping all of you have a safe day if your traveling and if your not have a fun and/or productive one.

Must have been a morning meant for early risers. Carol I was up at 4:30 too. Tried everything to get back to sleep and then just finally got up. Sounds like you and Bill ate at the Red-eyed Bull last night in downtown Amado, AZ ! That place always get's a laugh when we come back from a birding trip for night birds over southwest of there near the ghost town of Ruby. Some real nice views of the valley there if you make a day trip up to Madera . This time of the year it will be quiet except for a few of the hardy winter montane birds and of course the other crossers. Hope you have safe journey's to interesting places. Looking forward to your travels and reading your blog.

Coffee here this morning is Old Irish Bailey. It is quite interesting. First time I have tried it. Day off from work scheduled today. Will plan my trip to Las Cruces for the Doctors visits next week. Watching the American White Pelicans on the lake doing their family fishing thing. Hope all have a lazy or busy day but be safe whatever you do.

Morning!
I, too, popped awake at 4:30. I thought it was later at it looked like daybreak out my bedroom window. Come to find out my neighbor had their backyard lights on. I then got excited because I figured if they were up that early perhaps Minnie was having her puppies!! I also looked and their living room lights were on but haven't heard anything. I told her go come get me when it happens.... ;)

Coffee tastes good this morning. It's very windy out. Started last night. I keep thinking it's raining, but it's pine needles hitting the house. Great, more to clean up!

Nothing planned for today. I was suppose to watch my 2 GDs but my SIL didn't go to Hawaii after all. My DD had to work the flight again and he was going to go along to be with her. Guess she decided she needed some time alone after the holidays, her birthday and running a marathon last weekend. I texted her last night and she was laying on the beach after running 5 miles.

Tomorrow is basketball games for my 10 yr old GD here in town. Should be fun, but makes a long day as they play a round-robin type tournament.

Wishing everyone a great Saturday!! Stay safe and warm (or cool if you live in those climes ;) )!

GOOD MORNING ALL!

We did not go to the old house last night after all, as the kids were tired after working all week, and they were anxious to put up more Christmas lights on their house. I was still way too hung over from that icky wine to have any desire to go out anywhere! I went to bed at dark and slept until daylight---then had my coffee in the sun in front of the trailer. My maximum/minimum thermometer showed it got down to 33 degrees last night, but, as soon as that bright sun came up, it quickly climbed to the 60s and is now at least 70. What beautiful weather for December.

Mandy called last evening and said that a horrible wind storm and cold front came through at my house up there, and shut down the power. The Monitor stove came back on at what I had it set for last year---72 degrees----and none of them up there knew how to change that setting. I told her where the manual for the heater was, and how to change the reset temperature. I had thought she knew how to run the thing, as she had one in an apartment she rented a couple of years ago----guess she didn't know.

We all just got back from a late breakfast on the waterfront in the sun on Aligator Lake, and then we went to the St. Cloud craft show. It was beautiful in the sunshine as we ate a feast of food! I had corned beef hash and home fries....nice fat-free food---NOT! But it sure was good!

I found a bottle of my top favorite perfume oil, Egyptian Musk, at the craft fair, and bought a neat little scrap wood reindeer to sit in front of my trailer. He has a red nose, even! The only thing worse than shopping at a craft fair with my son would be to do the same with my brother AND my son! Neither has any patience for crowds and sidewalk vendors! But Melissa and I had fun checking stuff out.

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring, but I plan to canoe a bit in this pond with Molly to get her more used to that mode of travel. Maybe we will take my table and chairs over to the other house later today or this evening.

Here's hoping you all are having a good day, and that you are shoveled out, if you were one of the ones who got snowed in the past couple of days. Happy Saturday to all.

Happy travels!
