SUNNY THURSDAY, BUT COLDER

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
It's another sunny, but cold day out there this morning. It didn't get frosty here last night, but the rather strong winds and the temperatures in the 40s is feeling downright cold. I came in here to the main house to make some coffee and type my morning stuff where it's warm. IOt syas it's 29 derees at home, so I guess it's really warm by those standards!
Goog's car has a brake caliper that is stuck nearly shut, and he has been trying to get the wheel off to replace/repair his rear brakes for three days now. The salt from up north the winter he lived there rusted the car so badly that he can't get the wheel off----it's as if it's welded on. He replaced his front brakes with no problem, but that back one needs a sledge hammer, or a special tool, to get it off. I hate to think of him driving on these highways down here with that stuck caliper, but he passed up the chance to use my truck today and stick with what is familiar to him. Plus he also has an E-Z Pass which saves him much time driving to work. Last night he tried once more, even driving around his fields with the lug nuts off, but for two slightly on in case it broke free, but no luck. I hope he can trade that car soon, or get it to a repair shop where they have a wheel puller, or something. Makes me very nervous. I guess these are the things I have been unaware of back in the north country as he has been on his own down here in the south for nearly 14 years. Sigh.
Today Molly and I will go walking along the lake front again. I have enough groceries in my trailer refrigerator now, and in my pantry, so no need to shop any more. I stopped at the auction house yesterday to look for stools and clothes washers, and found a lot of both items. But we will be going to the other house for the weekend to get my table and chairs set up and then go out for night on the town. No auction this weekend. If my old washer still leaks, I will have no problem getting a replacement, whether used or new, after I save up some funds.
Here's hoping you all are having a good day, no matter what your weather. I guess that cold front that swept through here yesterday brought nasty and dangerous weather to some north of here.....tornadoes and wicked rain and snow and flooding, and ice and more snow. Please all, keep an eye to those weird skies.
Happy Thursday!
