good morning ladies, today is a wonderful day, last day of work for the week :D
Then buckle down and get the rest of my move done over the next 3 days. Although
I do have one little glitch in the plan....paycheck is NOT in the bank like it should
be :x which means payroll dept didn't process my automatic deposit yet. Beings how
its a 4 day weekend, a live check will be mailed! Certainly hope I'm wrong and live
checks will be issued at work today. If I have to wait for a check in the mail, THAT
could be a big problem! Things have been known to disappear that way around here.
Will hope for the best right now and check into it all at work today.
It is unseasonably cold, although yesterday morning was 39, today it says 43 so
actually better than yesterday. Where are my longjohns?
Coffee is hot, enjoy. Time for me to get ready for work. Have a great day everyone,
and be safe.

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for starting this today Ava. While you were doing this one, I started the one on the other site. Hope you get your paycheck. Maybe they will hand them out at work.

Well, here it is, the day before we all stuff ourselves like those turkeys we are doing. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean cassarole, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry relish, rolls, pies and whatever else is part of your dinner.

I will be heading over to a cousins for dinner tomorrow afternoon. We have a storm coming in and that's going to impact travel weither. But unless it's really bad, I will go over as she only lives about 6 or 7 miles by road from me. Maybe 5 by way the crow flies. I do have a turkey thawing out in the frig for me for later on here. Want all the yummy turkey for leftovers Right now it's still frozen pretty good yet, despite being out in the frig since Monday. If I were making dinner for tomorrow, I would have to get out my blowtorch

Heading up for town this mornng. Bank, gas station and quick run into store for a few necessary items, so I don't have to go back out on Black Friday and into lousy weather for milk etc. Going to kind of have a lazy day today I think. No projects. Going to take dogs for a long walk in the woods before we can't get back there anymore. It snowed here yesterday, but no big deal. Just enough to cover the ground white. I can still see the grass poking through.

So have a great day evryone and also Image

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Another beautiful day with sunshine and low humidity. I see that it's 25 degrees at home. Melissa's parents are here, and having coffee with me, with their service dog, Fallon. The kids will get off work a couple of hours early today, so that will be good.

Here's hoping you all are making preparations for a Thanksgiving feast with either friends, or family. I have spent a few Thanksgiving holidays by myself, and it's not the same.

This will be short, as I have company!!

I hope all those on the road will be safe and avoid the storms heading across the midwest.

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
I'm sure we all have a lot to be thankful for this year.
Me? Friends, family, a roof over my head, enough food in my fridge to
keep me chubby, and most of all - that my husband still knows who I am!
Oh yea - and a certain Dofus.

I hope your day is filled with love and friendship and lots and lots of good food!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Brrrrrr, weather site says it's 27.6f outside. Only suppose to get up to 31f. Took Shade out to do her morning P and the ground was covered in snow. Not a lot but everything is dusted with the cold white stuff. It's really neat to see it on the red cliffs out there. Have no idea where the heck Kelly's camera is or I would grab a couple of pictures of the red and white cliffs. It wasn't really calling for much of a chance of snow last night yet we got more this time than when it was suppose to be at 80%.

Today we have to do one of the chores I hate. Grocery shop! Blech!!!! I hate grocery shopping and I hate going to the laundromat. Would really rather take a whooping. :x ~sigh~ Got to go easy on buying groceries with this small fridge and freezer. Gonna be interesting. Also have to refill one of my BP scrips. Gonna check the huge thrift store out and maybe we can pick up a really cheap microwave? I sure hope so. I miss having one and it would help to save on propane to have one in here. I think I'm gonna put it up over the stove. There's an electrical outlet in that cabinet so I believe that's where one was before. ;)

Coffee is good and warm and going down real easy this morning. Every time I look out the kitchen window I want to make another pot! But I have been cutting myself back on the amount of coffee I drink. Now days I only drink maybe less than a pot. Before I use to drink the whole thing by myself! That one will have to do as we don't have a jittery, bouncy smiley!

Ok, off to check email and a few other things. Hope everyone will have a good day, stay safe, warm, cool or whatever the case may be!

Love to all

I procrastinated until the last minute and now I need to go shopping for something to cook for tomorrow. It is pouring rain for which I am grateful but I'm wishing it would break for awhile. It looks strange as there are puddles all over, it's going to take awhile to sink in since the ground is so hard.
One of my friends told a funny story about her four year old grandson. When his teacher asked what he was thankful for he said he was thankful for his Uncle Adam and deer hunting. He was here last week and saw his Uncle in camouflage clothes carrying his bow and arrow. Even if he didn't get to go along it must have made an impression. His teacher was laughing his head off and called his mother aside to tell her what he had said when she came to pick him up.
Florida is looking better and better as this cold weather comes in, my GF has a condo in Ft.Myers and has asked me to visit. Tempting....
I hope everyone has a safe, happy day tomorrow.

Good Morning to All - will try to get this posted while I have Internet - the guys for the satellite dish were here yesterday and things are worse now. They put the new part in and the GPS in the dish still isn't working. Now they saw we have a router problem and that is why it keeps cutting in and out and is so slow. They are coming back sometime today. If this thing ever works right I'll be amazed.
We left Indiana when it started getting cold there - well it is cold here in Vegas too - freeze warning last nite and yesterday lots of cold wind. Bill is chomping at the bit to head south.
Tomorrow we are supposed to have dinner with our youngest son and family and our 2nd youngest is supposed to come from Calif with his girl friend who we've never met.
Got a mobile service to come to campground yesterday to change oil in both rv and auto. Easier than taking them somewhere.
Just wanted to say "Hi" while things were working. Hope all have a nice day and good weather.
Ava hope the check is in the mail. Echo - good luck with the microwave - WalMar has some nice small inexpensive ones. Don't realize how much you use them unless you don't have one - or the electricity goes out.
Going to try to update blog while things are working.

It is 45 here in Lake Elsinore, CA and sunny today. It rained overnight. I has rained alot recently which is good to keep the fire threat down and green things up.
I am excited about picking up my new cat tonight! My roommate left last night for her parents place and won't be back until Monday, so I will have 5 days to bond with the kitty and get to know her. It will be a long day at work today with anticipation!

Still have to pick up a turkey. May just get some already cooked turkey at the deli in the morning. Don't need much for just myself.

Snow is pretty this time of year, but it is still nicer to look out now and see flowers, green grass and trees, and open water on the lake!

Have a good day whatever you are doing!

I didn't get my grocery shopping done yesterday since they dilated both my eyes and I couldn't see. I'm waiting for my DH to pick me up so we can go pick up my motorhome. Glad that got done so I can leave again next week. There is an RVW rally and I will get to see some of my friends that I saw in Schertz. I'm not looking forward to going to Wal-Mart, bet it will be a mad house. The temperatures are suppose to be 80 today and tomorrow and then drop into the 30's tomorrow night. Shorts to long johns.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Martha

Getting in a quick good morning while it's still morning. I've hardly been using any propane, since my electric is paid for. But someone needed propane so arranged to have them come to the park to fill us up. Of course I did it - now I know when I leave, it will be with a close-to-full propane tank. That's something to be thankful for. Could go out to eat tomorrow with some folk here, but opted out of that. They are going at 1 - and there's no way I could put a big meal in me that time of day - will bearly be out of bed then - since it'll be 5 or 6 in the morning before I get to bed!

Thanksgiving is actually one of my favorite holidays - maybe my favorite. Because, to me, it's a day that it doesn't matter if I'm with people or not. It's a day to be thankful for everything in my life - from the wonderful people, Peaches, my health, the ability to live this fabulous lifestyle, and on and on. For me, that requires more introspection - and that's what I'll do tomorrow for awhile. Have quiet time to realize all I really am thankful for.

Hope your day tomorrow is all it should be and you want it to be. Oh, and yes, I'm very thankful for this forum and all of you in my life. Can definintely say you keep my life from being dull :)
