MILD, DAMP MONDAY

Good morning everyone,

A damp but mild morning here this morning. Temps in the 40's and may go up a bit before going down later this afternoon. Supposed to have some snowshowers later on this evening into tomorrow morning. Thursday and Friday are the days to watch. Wind and snow predicted for late Thursday into Friday. Usually par for the course here on Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Black Friday shoppers will have some bad weather to deal with if it pans out. Zero visibliities possible in heavy snow bands. Will see how it all comes together as the week progresses.

As for me today, I have some exciting stuff planned. Clean house After getting the kitchen project done, it's time to give some attention to the rest of the place. Then I think I might head up to Hobby Lobby and get some stuff for my scrapbook project that I have yet to start. I want to make a scrapbook of my camping adventures but I am not sure just exactly what I am doing yet. Have pictures to put in but since I haven't done scrapbooking before, I need to find out whats the best thing to use to put them on with. Thinking of putting them on some different colored card stock and then that onto the scrapbook page. Then comes the lettering and all that. Will keep me out of trouble although I do have another painting project to do and that's my laundry room. But that's not a big deal. Just a freshen up.

Soos, I love your pictures. Still can't believe you got that canoe in there. You are one smart cookie. Your pictures of your winter camping site look so peaceful. Your son is indeed lucky to have found such a great place. It all reminds me of FL, as I've been there many times, from one end to the other. North was always my favorite.

Sounds ilke everybodys busy, having snow, GD's over, dog trimming projects, making plans for Thanksgiving etc... Pete, good luck with figuring out that washer/drayer. I guess experimenting is going to be the only thing that will work.

Glad you are staying busy, Sue, as that is the key to living to be over 100, I am convinced! And that is one of my goals! Looking for some pics of all this work you are doing!

Morning!
Winter arrived here yesterday and will stay a few more days, it seems. The snow we got yesterday is still on the ground, and the wet roads are now black ice. Lots of accidents this morning, traffic is slow on the interstates in my county. More snow arriving this afternoon, plus dropping temps. Our temps will drop as the day goes on as the snow arrives. So it goes...

I have an appt at 1:30 with my finance LADY. My GUY, Larry, went back to school, so now Edward Jones has hired a women to take over the office. Just talking over the phone with her I'm not impressed, but will see how it goes today.

Soos, you sure are keeping busy. One of these days you'll get it all figured out and can just relax.

Sunny but cold morning here. Only 36 degrees! Supposed to warm up later this week tho. They had snow up in the mountains here this weekend.

Last night I was on the local shelter website and looking at their Lost & Found page. There was a kitty that was brought in the day after I got/lost my kitty that looks a lot like her. It was found in Lake Elsinore too. If they checked for a microchip then, my info may not have been on it yet. They open at 10 am so I will be there then to check on this cat. I have all the info on her and the microchip number so am hoping it really is her! Keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath... the next two hours are going to go by way too slow!!

Well, another false alarm Not my kitty at the shelter. Back to square one...

Trying to decide what to do today. Would love to drive down to San Juan Capistrano and along the ocean but can't afford the gas (or the obligatory shopping!), and I have a lot to do around here even tho I don't much feel like doing any of it. I ordered a small TV from Walmart (had credit on their account) that is ready to be picked up so will probably at least do that and then figure out whether to get cable or satellite for it. I miss watching TV, and my roommate doesn't have a TV either. It is very quiet around here.
