good morning ladies, up early and getting to the task of things to do. Getting everything
buttoned up this weekend so Mickey and Ginny can come get this thing next Saturday.
The date is set, the pressure is on, and the space has already been rented to the next
guy.
Coffee is ready but your on your own for breakfast, I'm finishing up a few graham crackers
so I can toss the box and thats about it.
Have a safe day.

Good morning ladies! I'm up too, and heading out soon to the Cross Creek Festival with some gals from church. These gals like to wear red hats...not my thing, but I will wear my red visor for their sakes, and my "Chick With Attitude" Tee shirt. Cross Creek Festival is at the County Park next to the Matjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Historic site, and also on the shores of Orange Lake. So...taking my kayak just in case.
In case the weather's nice; in case I feel like it; in case it's not too crowded at the boat ramp; etc.
Hope you can get on the road as planned today, Kathleen. Safe travels!
Have a great day!

Good Morning... Ava and Liz, yes I am up... will have coffee and take care of a few things, check the house, check that all of the basement compartments are locked, un hook the electric, don't have to check the levels of oil etc as Pete did that last weekend and have not moved Bright Hope yet... looks like this is the day... was way to excited yesterday maybe it was the three cups of coffee I had...
I will have coffee maybe then I can get my eyes open...
Liz the festival sounds like fun... that was such an interesting tour at Marjorie Rawlings last year... I went twice... with the ladies group and then with my daughter... I hope the weather is good for a bit of kayaking...
Ava are you ahead of schedule? oh thanks for getting the coffee ready...
Have a great day everyone...
Kathleen

Kathleen, I am ahead of schedule by about a week but the pressure got put on when the
park said they need my space vacated by the end of November cause they have already
rented it. I can't wait till the last minute to pull in the slide and disconnect cause something
could go wrong and then I'd need the time to correct it, especially if its something that
could cost me money I'd have to put it on the payday fix list. Like, what "if" the slide
won't go in, etc. I know I'm a worry wart, but if something is going to go wrong, it will.
Its murpheys law ya know.

GOOD MORNING AVA, KATH, LIZ, AND ALL!
Yay, Kath-----you are off at last! I can't wait to see you when you get down here. So many have new rigs now----you and Liz and Pete-----all within a doable driving distance. Pete's new one is spectacular, as are yours and Liz's, I am sure. Have a safe trip, and keep in touch as much as possible.
Ava, you have been so busy I noticed, as I finally got caught up on some of the posts I have missed----many in the campfire forum. I sure hope you can save some moola and relax a bit now, and that you will get good driving jobs to cary you through.
Liz, it sounds like a perfect weekend for kayaking and doing whatever outside. I cannot believe the perfect weather down here, so far!
Today is warm and sunny once again----just unbelievable weather for November. My desktop weather thingy tells me it's only 37 degrees back home, but it's in the 70s here with a nice little breeze.
Melissa and I went to an auction right down the road last night----happens every Friday night. I found a beautiful living room set----sofa-bed, loveseat, and recliner chair in a really nice flowery pattern in great condition, that Melissa said I could probably bid on and get for under 200.00------but it was hot and stuffy in the place, and they were taking all the little things (TONS of stuff) and doing those first. So we left without their ever getting to that set. I can go there during the week and make offers on some of the furniture and buy it outright, perhaps, and I think I prefer to do that than get into a bidding contest with anyone. They have a couple of really neat dining sets there for just a bit over 150 dollars-----pine table with 4 chairs, beautiful condition----and an older oak table with 4 chairs, also in great condition.
My son and a high school friend drove a HUGE truck filled with promotional coffee samples (Millstone Coffee, now owned by Smuckers which Todd works for) from Atlanta last evening, and they will go set it up today at the place where the famous game is taking place down here-----don't even know what kind of sport it is, but people from all over will be here for it. Tomorrow they will work at the site, and earn some big exra bucks.
Don't know what is in store for us today, but I think I might avoid the roads until this event is over. Molly and I will go walking at the lakefront again.
Here's hoping all that are on the roads will have a safe and fun day traveling, and that those others of us can kick back and relax a bit.

It's 16* today....and I think...no I don't think I KNOW that I am extremely green with envy of all of you in the warm climates!
Think tonight I am finally going to have to finally bite the bullet and start the furnace. We've been using our SunHeater and it's been keeping the house warm but I doubt it will be able to keep up anymore and we'll just use it for auxilary heat. Have to make a road trip to Yankton for a Wally World stock up...been putting that off for several weeks so today has to be the day since there is suppose to be freezing rain tomorrow. Just went through an extremely rough week at work. All state departments have to cut their budget by 10% and DOC has to eliminate 28 employees state wide. Eight people at the facility where I work were told that that they don't have a job for FY11. I was and still am fairly confident that my head isn't on the chopping block but you never know. I'm not actually considered an employee at the prison where I work but am a DOC employee and my boss had pretty much told me that he didn't think that any cuts were going to be made in prison industries since we generate a healthy income for DOC. Still it makes for extremely tense working conditions. I feel so sorry for those employees who lost their jobs because of RIF just before the holidays...never a good time but it just seems worse this time of the year.
Best get on my way. Today is opening day for deer hunting and I hope to heck the deer aren't spooked to the point they are running around in daylight....a wrecked car is all I need!

Hi everyone. Another beautiful day, supposed to turn cold later in week. Kathleen, be safe and did you find my phone numbers. When I tried to send a Pm to you, it kept saying "no recipient defined". I put your name in the box! Liz, I thought you were leaving for Gatlinburg today? Stay safe everyone, Wendy

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!
Cool and cloudy here this morning. Suppose to have a 40% chance of rain. Then the rest of the week the temps are suppose to start dropping. Can we say YUCK!
Sunday 80% chance of snow, Monday 60% and Tuesday 20% chance of snow. BLECH!
Need to get a couple of things out of the truck bed before it rains. Other than that as long as the roof doesn't leak and try to drown us in here we are hoping to be snug in our little home on wheels.
Kelly has accidentally found a new play thing for us and Shade...an empty milk crate. I grabbed a couple from the Lodge before we left. Used them to put wood blocking in. Then figured we could use them for small side tables outside or even foot stools. Well one of them is laying on it's side with leaves in it. The wind blew, rustled the leaves and Shade got curious. While she was checking out the leaves inside of the milk crate Kelly wiggled it. Shade got all excited and went nuts. She apparently thinks something is in the leaves and/or under the crate. We have played with that dang crate and Shade for 2 days now when outside. We both laughed so hard the first night it's a wonder we didn't wet our pants. Silly dog, but she use to go nuts over the wood piles and the tarp I had over a few things at the Lodge. She found chipmunks in them. So I guess she thinks she is still hunting them big bad chipmunks!
She barks, growls, digs and runs around that milk crate like crazy.
Other than washing dishes I'm not sure at all what we are gonna tackle in here today. It's hard for 2 of us to work at the same time in here. And doing dishes in the small sinks is a challenge to be sure. We do have the groceries sorted and put where I wanted them. Got all the dishes, pots and pans where I wanted them to be so that is one thing that has really helped clear some of the clutter. Gonna be a long hard job tho on the rest of it!
Well time for another cup of coffee then gotta get up and do something! Hope everyone has a good day and make sure it's a safe one too!!
Kathleen you be sure to drive safely and enjoy the ride.
Love to all

Good morning on this snowy day in Whatcom County, WA. Woke up to about 5" of snow. It sure is pretty out there. We are snuggled in our motor home - it is so good to be home!
Were supposed to go to breakfast in Bellingham this morning with friends (about 20 miles south of here) but decided not to venture out. Will be going back into Blaine later to finish up stuff for Sunday services at the church. My last weekend as church secretary. Someone asked for my church keys the other day. I reacted with What! - do I really have to give them up, but then if we are not here and I am not working there guess I don't need them any more. Mixed feelings...being church secretary has been such a part of my life for the last 7 years. But I will give them up today when I am finished. I know I can do it and be a big girl and not cry - you know the emotional stuff of changes. While I am working at the church Ron will be putting in a new dishwasher for the church.
Tomorrow we go to Redmond, about 100 miles SE from here to meet with the owner of the Christmas tree lot. Looking forward to starting that new adventure. We actually move to the lot on Tuesday afternoon or early Wednesday morning. Haven't quite decided our plan.
Sounds like everyone has busy plans for today. Kathleen be safe out there as you drive, Liz have fun with the gals, and Ava don't rush too much that you get overwhelmed....everything will work out. Echo have fun being snuggled in your little new home to you.

Good morning!
Coffee tastes extra good this morning. It's pretty chilly out, in the low 30s, and will get even chillier in a few days.
Gosh, I get exhausted trying to keep up with you gals that are moving or traveling or GTGing or job hunting or starting new jobs, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers every day.
Nothing planned today. I might go to the movies and see the new Harry Potter one. First a nice hot shower. My shoulder is still very tender where I got the flu shot. I thought it would be better by now. Every time I rolled onto my left side last night it woke me up. Makes for a cranky gal in the AM!
Have a joyous day, ladies!

Good morning gals! Don't feel very good today. I have been having small anxiety attacks for the past several days because of this lost kitty. I am so worried and feel so helpless (and guilty). I went back to the condos this morning to look again but it was raining out so if she is there, she was probably hunkered down underneath something. I updated my flyers with red marker to make them more visable and to more clearly define what she looks like, and will replace some of the ones I already put up, and put up more further out. Just feeling so tired and light headed right now, so am resting a bit. Have to go into work later.
Have a fun, safe, productive day!

Wendy, when you get the name(s) in the box (see Doofus below in screenshot below), you must then click on "ADD". The names come out of the box, show up on the top right side of the box, and your error message (no recipient defined) will disappear.

What a helpful bunch - I also pm'd her with various methods
Lots of ways we can do the same things on here - easiest, for me with pm's - is Vickies way.
