FALL BEHIND!

GOOD MORNING ALL!

I finally got online after Goog up and fixed the network connection here! YIPPEE!

I now have a 30amp power hookup for my trailer, installed on a pretty white post right next to my trailer, and we will bury the line/wire today. Then we will work on the water and sewer. Poor kids lost their pump prime when we had to shut off the power, so we spent a while toting water from the pond to reprime the well pump. We got 'er going, in the end, and Goog's next purchase will be a new pump so that it will keep it's prime when the power goes out.

My trailer is set up with a view of the pond, watching the sunrise, with the beautiful sunsets on the other side....what luxury! I will take pictures when I can. My truck is free for the first time in a week!

Today will be some grocery shopping, some touring of the area, and whatever. Last night we went out to eat at Catfish Jack's right down the road, and I had fried clams, hash brown potatoes, cole slaw, and key lime pie for dessert!

Time to get going here now----I still haven't had time to read all the posts I have missed this past week...perhaps later. I hope you all are having fun wherever you may be! Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour!

Good morning ladies, and good to see you back online and settling in Soos.
I got the sealing done on the roof yesterday but didn't get the window frame
replaced as I wasn't sure if I needed an extra pair of hands to hold the glass.
My friend Ron is coming over today to get some stuff put on craigslist and
while he's here, I'll make use of him  and get that window frame done.
He's also going to take my two tubs of winter clothes back with him and
that will free up a little more space in here so I can think. :D All in all,
it will be a good day. Coffee is carmel truffle, yum yum.
Enjoy yours, and be safe.

Sitting here and enjoying some hot tea and a space heater on my back and NPR on the radio..... Love a quiet house with just the puppers at my feet...... Spent yesterday grooming Herschel nails and all. He never admits to the pile of golden red fur that grows on the floor after I am finished using the stripping blade....:=) Used the scissors to trim the hair around his ears and paws...he is handsome and ready to go out and party with his friends  I then set out to clean and organizes several corners (and closets) of my world. I found my small stack of warm turtlenecks for winter and put my Capri pants in the bottom of the closet...for a while anyway.....not like it was warm enough in FL for them last year  so I am not worried....The closet with clean towels and sheets, the closet in the bathroom with people and dogs shampoo products... ...the door that holds all the variety and lengths of leashes and collars that five different dogs might need.... :? Guess I won't be needing to buy any "extra" leashes for awhile.... Laundry is finishes and I do have my eye on several other corners of my world that have not been "tossed" yet. The bags for Goodwill and lined up in Husband's office waiting for their trip down the road along with the ones heading directly to the trash. Wish I was more educated with selling on Craig's list.....those of you that have been successful, do you basically require "Cash and Carry" ? Do individuals come to your house and check items out? Consignment stores around here take 1/2 the price.....but? :?

32 degrees and chilly here in Ohio but the sky is sunny and bright....much better than the gray November skies we are known for around here. Enjoy! :)

Tina, just sold my old cell phone on Craig'sList. I require cash if they pick it up. If they want me to mail it I add $7 for postage (or more depending) and require a money order. I'll meet them at the office instead of them coming into my rig. For you, just be sure you're not home alone even if a woman calls you - she might bring her "boyfriend". I've had pretty good luck selling on Craigs List and its a lot easier than Ebay.

I sold my scooter on Craig's list - had to take it to a shipping place the buyer paid for. Got payment for that via Paypal.

I've had very good luck with Craig's List...but as said by others, I only accept cash & I always make sure I am not home 'alone' when they/buyer come to my house. I always post pictures so anyone interested can see what they may want to buy, which eliminates the 'just want to stop by & look' kind of people. I have had too many problems with E Bay & Pay Pal so I do not post on their website....

GOOOOOD MORNING SISTAHS!

Just a tiny bit nippy here this morning. Temp on the front porch said about 38f. Once the sun moved a little and hit the thermometer it jacked it up to over a 100f. LOLOLOL

Came down to check emails and other stuff online. Decided before I did anything else I would check in on the coffee pot crew.mmmmmmmm coffee, yum

Our day is going to be busy, we are gonna try to get as much as we can of everything but essentials shifted to the TT. Need to check and see if the adapter I got will work for the lights on the TT. I guess it either will or it will fry something. Got my fingers crossed tho. ;> Bossman went to Williams to his Mom's place for a few days to work on her roof but he's suppose to be home tonight. Was hoping to get out of here and off the rock tomorrow but I don't think that's gonna happen. Someone in the family has a dentist appt, either Chris of one of the boys? Then Ellen wants to go to the monster thrift store in St. George so by time they get back with the mail and my tags, it will be late enough that we will spend another night and leave out Tuesday morning. I don't want to pull out of here where it might be dark by time we get to the campground. Not on the very first trip. It's only about 74 mls to Kanab from here but I want to do the whole thing in the daylight and get into the site and hooked up early. This of course will be the very first time I've ever done it and I sure the heck don't know how my helpless little female act will work. It's been AGES since I've tried to use it. And I want the boss to go thru a few things on the TT with me again too.

OK, better get this posted while it's still morning here. Hope everyone has a super grand day and please remember to be safe in whatever you do.

Love to all
