I'm up too Kathleen and getting ready for my third breakfast. It isn't too cool this morning in the forties.
Has anyone heard from Soos? I know everyone else is also wondering how her adventure is going.
Need to go eat and finish getting ready for church.
Hope every has a fun day.

Soos posted last evening in the singles forum - she left in snow yesterday - is still a nervous wreck - still talking about turning around. Hopefully meeting with her friend last night, and being out of the bad weather, she'll start feeling better about things.
Peaches and I had a great walk this morning. Doing laundry now. Being a bum. Beautiful day - is warming up nicely today.

G'morning!
Poured rain during the night and hopefully that was the front that went thru early so the little gobblins will be dry for trick or treating tonight. So far I haven't bought any candy to give out. I wasn't going to do it this year but now my 2 GDs might stop by and they like handing out candy so I'll wait till the last minute to see.
Yesterday was the last soccer games for the girls. The 10 yr old's team played hard but got beat by 2 goals. The rain held off but it was cool. The 8 yr old's team fell apart and not hammered. Weather turned windy and very cold. Poor little kids in their shorts playing when we could see our breath!
Anyone else going to be happy when the elections are over!!?? I'm so sick of the mud slinging. Sure wish they'd use all those TV and mail ad dollars for something worthwhile with the country struggling so.
Last night at church our pastor's son (in his 20s), had a seizure. I'm still trying to get further news. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
Wishing everyone a great day. Safe travels for those on the roads.

on the internet for awhile, well a couple hours anyway. Its sunday after all, a day for
relaxing.
Enjoy your day and be safe.
Its hot today and I've turned on the ac

Yes, I am going to be glad when the elections are over too. Tired of the mud slinging. We have to elect a new gov. this year and nobody really knows any more about these guys then when they first started running. Not to mention the other offices. And of course the papers and news media are already making projections.. Friend of mine said this morning that they were saying on TV, the politicians running for the various offices have spent over 3 billion dollars in ads etc., Think of what that money could have paid for:evil:
I'm glad that during major national elections, they made the media quit projecting results before the polls on the west coast close. I always felt that wasn't fair to the voters out there cause NBC or CBS said so and so was a projected winner. Why bother voting.

I don't watch TV since I don't have one right now, but just the millions of signs all over on every street corner is such an eyesore! Will be glad when those go away next week! This is the first election year I won't be voting. Didn't have enough time since I have been out here to get an absentee ballot sent to me from Minnesota (didn't think to pick one up before leaving MN), and am not registered here to vote yet (no proof of living here yet). So hopefully, all the candidates I would have voted for will get elected without me.
