MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY

Postby Nasoosie » Wed Oct 27, 2010 6:10 am

GOOD MORNING ALL!

It was good to see A post from Beth on yesterday's coffee post----very thankful to hear good news from her and to learn that she is safe. I will have to look at the smart phone that my friend, Pete, talked about that allowed him to watch the radar up ahead of him.

Today is still warm out there, but I doubt it will be as warm and sunny as yesterday was----into the 70s, sunny, and like summer out there. I finished packing my truck and managed to get my bike in there, after taking off the front wheel, instead of having to add that to the trailer.

Unfortunately, I managed to break a tooth last night, and will now have to find a dentist to repair it before I get on the road, I don't know if the dentist from hell will see me again, or not, but I know that Issy has an appointment with my favorite dentist tomorrow. I am going to ask her, if it's not an emergency for her, if she would be willing to give up her space to me. Or perhaps some other person has cancelled their appointment with him for tomorrow. As soon as I can call her for the phone number of that dentist, I will know more. It's always something!

Today is the day I've scheduled to go shopping and fill up my gas tank in the truck. Tomorrow I am supposed to meet the alarm system guy, if I don't have a dentist appointment. He has my remote thing for the system, and I have a couple of questions to ask him. Time is running out here, unless I change my leaving date.

Ok...coffee is hot, it's been the required half hour since I took my Fosamax, so I am going for some. I hope today is less dangerous out there than yesterday weatherwise. Keep an eye to the skies. I hate this weather. I feel very safe right here, so far.

Happy travels!

Soos, sorry to hear you broke a tooth, hopefully you can get it fixed today and it won't delay your trip.
The dentist I saw yesterday was great and he was really a cutie! Even better he saw only one other spot where I needed treatment. He was shocked at the estimate and what all the dentist in St. Louis had suggested was wrong with my mouth. The cost will be about the same as having it done the 'old fashioned' way!! I also found out that he will be the new periodontist that my dentist here will be referring patients too after the first of the year as the other in Paducah is retiring then. Odd that we have to travel so far to see a specialist. Thanks for all your concern my bank account and I feel much better today and I am off to have a massage!!

Good-morning !!! This morning, I am really hoping this stormy period is about over. We really didn't get all that much rain, that we needed, but I have a mess in my yard, proof that we did have high winds. We were lucky here where I live as there was so much damage in so many places nearby. Really glad to see your post Beth, that you were safe. I thought of you yesterday, so was a relief to see you are parked for a time and safe. Tell Carol and The driver hello for me. Don't they have a really nice place? I love the town also.

Soos, so sorry to hear about the broken tooth. If its not one thing its half dozen other. So hard to get appointments now, too, which adds to the misery, and then they empty your pockets. Hope you can get it fixed soon.

Well, Maggie and I, are off to the dump. Except for being overcast outside, looks safe enough to get out for a ride and away from here for a short period of time. Its always a beautiful ride here wherever I go, so always lifts my spirits, which is always good :) I think just being on the road, makes me feel good !!!! :D

Have a Great day everyone, stay safe whatever you might be doing

Good Morning from windy cool Normal... it will get to 65 today... played lazy yesterday and did not clean the carpet and couch and chair in Bright Hope but must do that today after I get my eyes open... it always takes me so long to get moving... and to think I used to hit the floor running seems like eons ago...

The sky is clear and sun is bright but the winds are blowing still... very quiet here... it is good I got my camera all set up now no excuses for not taking pictures... the other camera ate batteries... bet Liz remembers that one... this one should be better at least I will use it and see how it works... if it is not good will send it back...

Ouch Soos hope the nerve is not exposed... that will mean some work for sure... the count down is moving fast for you... then it will be happy trails... rvgrammy when you get done cleaning there you can come do mine... where are you work camping anyway? have not kept up... Bj glad you found a periodontist that will fix your teeth problems... they sure are hard to come by especially when you are far away from a large city...

I have my special coffee but it is not as good as before... not sure why but will drink it anyway... I see that Bed Bath and Beyond has k pods on sale for my keurig so will pick up some before the sale is done then I will have a taste of luxury for a while...

my friend Jere got a great report from his cancer doctor... he will not have to go back till spring... all of the hiking walking and diet change has certainly been great for his condition... no meat, dairy products and a list of other things... he eats vegies, beans, fruit, drinks beer frequently... guess that is good because of the hops who knows...

Well I am off to drink coffee and get busy...
take care on the windy roads

Good morning. We are in Leavenworth, WA this morning. We arrived yesterday about 3:00. We are slowly making our way back to Blaine.

We had a good day yesterday. Stopped at Smallwoods Fruit Stand in Peshastin. They have it all decked out for Halloween. I hope to get that blog post up tonight. I think my internet connection is slow here for some reason. Took me hours just to get the pictures uploaded from our journey from Clarkston to Crescent Bar.
The sky is mixed of blue and light gray clouds. Yesterday there was snow on Stevens Pass. Today it is just supposed to be bare and dry. Hubby is sleeping right now so I am checking emails and blogs.

Wishing everyone a great day!!
