OCTOBER 1st---ARK REQUESTED HERE!

GOOD OCTOBER MORNING, ALL!
And I forgot to shout RABBITS, as usual! For some reason, I thought yesterday was Wednesday all day, even after I wrote Thursday in this room!
Boy have we ever had torrential rains all day yesterday and all night long, and, so far today, all morning! My yard, despite being up high and not in danger of flooding, has standing water all over as the rain is coming down faster than the percolation into the ground can happen. It pounded down on my metal roof all night long! Poor Molly did not wish to go out for her morning pee at all!
It's cooler today, but not cold, at 50 degrees here. I really need to get some more firewood in here so I can stay warm as the temperature is now forecast to drop precipitously. I was hoping to be able to get my trailer back here today---NOT! I don't want to drive in waterfall-type rains----and, besides, I haven't heard from the dealer yet anyway.
Tomorrow evening, Mandy will arrive to help me sort through some valuables to take to the safe deposit box and help me organize a list of things I need to do IF I am to ever get out of here this winter.
Coffee is hot, so stop in and let us know you aren't stranded somewhere, or battling floods if you are in the eastern part of the country. Stay safe, and have fun, above all!
