Good Monday Morning

Everyone must be sleeping in this morning, well except for Liz. I bet she is on her way to pick up her lovely new rig.
Winnie and I are sharing an egg while I am thinking about getting started on the day. So many chores to choose from I may decide to do nothing but play. I have yoga at eleven and then some of us will go to lunch together. Will be a good time catching up as several have been traveling.
Yesterday I bought a new Netbook and returned it within two hours, DH called me a catch and release shopper.
I hope everyone has a fun, safe week.

Morning all...we are pretty much back into the school year routine. Still have a few bugs to work out, but we are getting there.

Last week I ended up dealing with a foreclosure issue. NOT US!! You see, we live in a large HOA, that had one location of mailboxes. They then started to change out to cluster boxes. They started that process in 2007. During that process they renamed streets (got rid of the ones with same name like Jones Dr, Circle, Lane, court, etc). They also renumbered the houses. Our street name did not change, but our house number did. We went from 60 to 53. At first a lot of the mail was mixed up as the people who had 53 and became 50 teach overseas and they were not here. Eventually they returned and it all got fixed. Then about 6 months ago we started getting random mail for them. I just put return to sender as the house is empty. Now the house is up for sale. About 2-3 weeks ago, we were getting mail every day for 3-4 days from Chase Bank for them. Then one day last week I came home to a paper notice on the door, telling them to call Chase Bank ASAP. That an independent property inspector had been there to visit. So the way I figured it and in talking to some people...we could only assume they are their way to foreclosure. The house is listed as a short sale. That took some phone calls and getting the right number to get a real person at chase. Talking to the real estate agent. So hopefully it is all corrected and WE will not have any more notices. I will admit it freaked me out, as I googled what to do??? the horror stories I read, of people being locked out of their homes, stuff stacked in their yards, hauled off to storage area, or as in one ladies case hauled to the dump..all the WRONG house/condos. My fear is that we would arrive home to the police cars and animal control. I do not think the dogs would take kindly to someone coming into the house.

I am also very excited...this is Ali last day of work for the carnival season....It will be so nice to have my friend back...I really missed her all spring-summer.

Well the alarm on the cell phone is going off...means it is time to get Zeke and Kodie up and ready for the day.

We woke up to temps in the 60's this morning. What a difference. It will get up into the 80's but better than the 90's.

I went out to get something out of my camper in my sandals this morning and something stung me on my toe. It happened so fast I didn't see what stung me and it hurt so much I couldn't tell which toe at first. Must have been a wasp.

I still haven't gotten the address changed on all our mail in the 5 years since hurricane Rita. It's a good thing we didn't move far, just next door. I finally just put both numbers on the mail box. Here the 911 people assign address numbers and they messed up the numbering on our road. Evidently they don't send anyone out to see what they are doing. It's confusing to delivery people but I'm not changing my address again if I can help it.

Hope Liz doesn't have any problems with her deal. That's a long way to go and not have it work out.

Martha

Hope everything comes out all right, Carolyn! You are doing the smart thing. :!:

Woke up to a cool 51 degrees this morning....great sleeping weather. wish I could stay here in the TX Hill country awhile. I went to see my new RV today and watched the inspection. I inspected it thoroughly too. I think I'm in love. It passed with flying colors. I ordered a Maxx-Air for the Fantastic Fan cover which will be installed tomorrow. As soon as that's done and the paperwork signed, I'll switch out the "stuff" and be good to go.

Wow, what a horror story, Kris...hope it gets straightened out quickly.

Morning is long gone here too. We've had off and on rain most of the day and it is dramatically cooler. Maybe fall is really here????

Carolyn - hope all your prep work is over by now.

Liz - I'm so excited for you on new RV. Have a safe trip home.

Hope everyone else had a good day.

Brief visit with Jean this afternoon. Gave her one of the AR gtg mugs from Mitch and Vickie. Photos just added to part 3 of the AR gtg thread. Note the smile!
