FRIGID FRIDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!
Two deer were at the apple tree this morning, and Molly was beside herself when one of them would stand up on her hind legs to pick apples off the higher branches! They are really fun to watch----unfortunately, my camera is still at the pond. I need to go get that today.
My friend, Kathy, does have a lung cancer---adeno-carcinoma. She is having a PET scan today to determine if the cancer has spread anywhere else in her body. I am hoping it will show nothing but the localized lung thing. Her plans to visit still haven't changed, and I will pick her up at about 10:30 tomorrow morning in our local airport. I hope she has a decent flight from CA. She has a long struggle ahead of her, as we all know, thanks to Sparkle. But it can be done, as we also know, thanks to Sparkle.
I got my incentive money check yesterday afternoon!!! It's about time! So I will head into the bank this morning to deposit that, along with over 300.00 in coins I have rolled. Then I will do some last minute food shopping for Kathy and me. Other than that, I can think of nothing other than the usual cleanng/sorting chores which are endless. I tackled the underneath corner cabinet yesterday which was a real bit&^ to get into as it's so far back into the corner! I found three cases of Slim Fast diet cans, and a ton of single ones stashed back there! I haven't used Slim Fast in YEARS! All of those will get dumped, if not tomorrow on the way to the airport, then next weekend.
Hope for some warm sunny days for Kathy and me this coming week, so we can get outside and get some fresh air. The following week I won't have my trailer, as they will be working on the refrigerator and inspecting it for my winter trip.
I hope all is well with you, and I hope to see some pictures of that GTG in Arkansas which is this weekend! Everybody drive carefully, and be sure you STOP if you need to use your phones. No texting or talking while driving for any of you, do you hear me??
Off I go to read the posts and my email, then head to town. Temperature is 46 here this morning, so I stoked up the woodfire in here and it really feels good!
Happy Friday!
