WET TUESDAY MORNING

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
The kids are back at school today----in fact, Saranac Lake schools had kids last Friday, too. Am I sorry to not be there? Absolutely NOT! September proves to be a fun month for me this year for the first time since I was 3 years old, as I started school when I was 4.
I did some grocery shopping yesterday, picked up a prescription, visited with my neighbor, and actually did little else other than wash a load of bedsheets to put into my new storage containers I got for that purpose.
It is about 56 degrees here in the trailer this morning, and raining softly. The forecast is for sun this afternoon, so maybe I can get more staining done if it dries out. If not, the under-the-kitchen-cabinet sorting of 'stuff' is always there, waiting for me! I will also make up some chili for when my friend, Kathy, arrives from CA on Saturday morning. She is due to have a lung biopsy today, and I am thinking of her, and hoping for good news. The CT scan does not look good, however-----perhaps Gilbert has moved to a new host? Please let it not be so....let him just be dead. I am also making some apple crisp today with my old wild apple tree fruits. It is loaded with apples this year, as the deer have already discovered, and it's a challenge to pick some before they drop off into their mouths!
In the meantime, I am sipping coffee, taking my own sweet time to read email and Facebook and a couple of forums, and then leisurely get dressed. Last year I was well into my school day, and morning announcements were on the PA system. Stop by and let us know what's up in your world. I have no mice to release this morning! My banking stuff and mailing has to be done today, as yesterday was a holiday and everything was closed. I am rambling!
Coffee is hot! Happy Tuesday!
