CRYSTAL CLEAR TUESDAY

GOOD MORNING ALL!
The sun is coming up today after a beautiful clear, bright, moonlit night. It's up to 50 now after being in the lower 40s last night, and should turn out to hit 70, or so, later on. There is not a cloud in the sky, the bunnies are grazing on the grass around the trailer, the apples on the old apple tree are getting fat and ripe, and all's right with the world! They are tempting me to make some apple crisp out of them, which is really the only way I love to eat apples----loaded with sweet brown sugar, a bit of flour, cinnamon, and sometimes some oatmeal on the top----hot and covered with either vanilla ice cream or fat-free cool whip!
As it proves to be a beautiful day outside, I guess staining is on the docket for today----and painting the trim around the doors and windows. I guess the time of procrastinating is over! This weekend sounds like it will a good time to spend a couple of nights in the leanto as it's supposed to hit the 80s during the days. I love staying here in the trailer, of course, but the leanto is really like wilderness camping in a solid-wall tent----something I did every summer for years and years. I miss hearing the night sounds that are muffled inside here, and hearing the footsteps of the night-prowling animals going past my little safe haven. Yep....leanto staying will happen for a few days before it gets too cold for me to enjoy it. I will also take my canoe down there and practice paddling with Molly in it with me.
The news is full of Salmonella and bedbug info this morning, and the few mice and earwigs I deal with here seem pretty insignificant in comparison! I haven't caught a mouse in the house for several days now, which is a very good thing. No mice at all in the trailer.
I stopped by school yeserday to make sure I am on the sub list, and pay my monthly dental insurance premium. They are all running around in circles, trying to fill positions that have been abandoned due to moving a bunch of teachers and teaching assistants around! Many have just up and quit and are looking for other jobs. The teaching assistants do not want to have be baby sitters and didey-changers, as they are educated to actually TEACH students with learning disabilities----they asked me if I wanted to come back! ACK! I graciously declined, and wished them luck with filling positions that should never have to be covered by educators. I also had to fill out yet another form so that I can get my incentive money before I die-----so danged many forms and jibberish that mean nothing to me. All I want is my check so I can see what I will have to deal with.
Coffee is hot and the mug feels good on my cold hands. Stop by and tell us what's going on in your world....we love to hear from you each day! Hazlenut with French Vanilla creamer is the menu, and there is now just ONE pistachio muffin left! Happy Tuesday!
