GOOD MORNING TO US ALL!
This has been a great week hearing from some members who have been absent for a while----I love it that you posted some updates so that we know all is well with you. I do know that it takes some time to type even a few lines, but the network of us campers across the entire country is awesome. Just give us a HELLO now and then! Now that the possibility of my being on the roads is a reality, I will want to keep track of who is where so I can visit now and then.
It's much warmer than yesterday morning here, and raining softly after some real good soaking downpours last night. Luckily for Molly and me, the thunderstorms skirted us again, but they did give us some needed rains. Today will be a day of working inside.
I saw a wonderful, large outdoor storage bin on someone's property yesterday on my way to the dump, took down the name of the company and the phone number printed on the outside of it, so tomorrow I will call and ask about getting such a unit delivered----how much it would cost per month to have this option to clear out some of my 'stuff' from the house, making it more user-friendly to anyone wanting to stay there! Then I could gradually go over the 'stuff' each year, weeding out slowly the things I have no need for. I think that the 'stuff' I really don't want, that can be dumped, can be hauled there in the utility trailer that belongs to the kids' grandmother. Perhaps about two loads should do it. The other things I can get appraised to know their worth, and then sell the stuff no one wants to use.
I have decided to go with the local house security system, rather than ADT, as the cost per month of monitoring is about half. (About 20.00 per month) I would need to buy the equipment, and pay to have it installed, but then I would own it all, and have no contracts to honor for 3 years like ADT requires. ADT would install the equipment for free, but then I would need to sign their contract. This local guy made the point that if I choose to not monitor my house for certain months, I could call and opt out until I need the service again. He sounded very intelligent, was very up front with his costs, and I just wish he could do the same for my house in FL as well! (It will cost about 1200.00 dollars for the installation and equipment. For me, the peace of mind it will provide me is well worth it.)
Last night, after Molly and I went for our walk again, my BP was lower than it's been in a long while----actually in the 120s over the 70s! My pulse was normal, about 68, rather than corpse-low, so I went to bed feeling rather good. And I still haven't taken any of that new drug. Hmmmmmm......we shall see what the future will be. Less anxiety will be a huge factor, I am sure, as my mental states have a direct bearing on my circulatory system. Luckily, I won't be able to monitor it as I am hauling my trailer through a large city, or over a steep mountain!
Hope we hear from more of you today as you go about your busy lives. Coffee is hot now, Hazlenut flavored, and there are still two pistachio muffins sitting here, staring me in the face! Stop by and tell us about your lives!
