Good morning everyone on this Friday the 13th, so far my morning is going well. It is much cooler this morning and I took all the dogs out for a short but good walk. The heat is supposed to come back but the break yesterday certainly improved my spirits and the heat advisory is supposed to end Sat. evening hooray.
I have boiled eggs and toast for breakfast also watermelon and cantaloupe yum, coffee is hot so come on in.

Me, the non-morning person, got up at 4 am - then couldn't get Peaches to go potty! Finally, I got her back in side, and went to meet Liz. We kayaked out to watch the sky where we saw some meteors. So neat. Should have gone out earlier - but going at this time, we didn't have too long to wait for sunrise, and then to kayak for a bit.

Needless to say, I'm ready for a nap But have errands and a few things to do - then might take one!

Good Morning... it is 84 heading for the mid 90s today... we still have the heat warnings...

the therapy is not going good... arm pains all night so needless to say I do not get much rest... so this is short and sweet...

Boy did we have several doosie storms overnight! My weather radio was going off all night with storm and flood warnings. It looked and sounded like a hurricane outside! It is sunny out right now, but more strong storms are predicted for later on today. Then tomorrow it will start cooling off finally!

Gotta do some laundry before heading off to work this afternoon. Hope you all stay safe, cool and dry today!

Kathleen, I'm sorry you didn't get much rest. Sometimes it seems the PT is worse on our sore parts at first. Hope it gets better.
Barbie, wow, you have been getting some wild weather this summer.

My furnace is running again this AM but I'm sure it's the last for a bit as we steadily start a warming trend. Reporting we might reach our first 100 temps. And I'm heading to CA?!? We are hoping to be driving the Pacific Coast Highway most of the way so hopefully it will be cooler.
Rode my bicyble around the neighborhood and then mowed my lawn last evening. Today inside chores to get ready for my trip. I always love coming home to a clean house. Yesterday I did some clothes shopping. NOT my favorite thing and even more depressing as I've gain allot of my weight back. I'm such a yo yo dieter! No one to blame but me. As they say, "you are what you eat"! And so it goes......

Meteors STREAK through the sky. You'd have to be filming constantly to catch one. Didn't even try. Laid back in the kayak - and just enjoyed.

Kathleen - when I did pt on my knee and ankle, for a long time, was in more pain after - hopefully, like with mine, after you work past that - you'll start feeling less.

If you are what you eat, then I'm strawberry pie with whip cream on top. Yesterday I went to the Piccadilly cafeteria for lunch. They had strawberry pie which I love. It's too much to eat a meal and pie so I brought some home. I figure the best time to eat pie is for breakfast so that's what I did.

I hate to have to pay the $12 at WW but know that will help keep me on my diet. I learn tips at the meetings that help me too. I buy the 100 calorie packaged snacks even though they are more expensive. I will stop at one package but if there is a whole pack of cookies or chips it's too easy to pick one up every time I pass.

It's overcast this morning but still in the mid 90's. There is rain to the East which will probably make it here before too long. We are back to rain every day. It really got dark and windy yesterday afternoon and blew things around but we didn't get much rain out of it.
