TUESDAY GTG LET-DOWN

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
I'm sitting here in my empty camp yard, wondering where the time went. I hear nothing but crickets this morning.
I have today to get ready for the near-week of boondocking at the VT bluegrass festival. I need to go to the leanto and get my generator, find a longer coaxial cable for my teeny-tiny little 12 volt TV (I have dozens of them in my electronics drawer), call Momot's and see if I can fill my fresh water tank tank there tomorrow morning when I stop to have them install my door prop. As I filled and washed out my tank yesterday, and tried my pump for the first time this year (it works great), I think I am ready to hitch tonight to get ready to head out early tomorrow morning so I can be at the dealers' by 8:30. Now there's a neat run-on sentence that I would edit if one of my students presented it for me!
Laura, my friend who will stay with me at the festival, will meet me at the visitor's center in VT along with Richard and his rig so we can go in together and get set up next to each other. Laura will have her car this year as her father is very frail and has frequent mini-strokes now, so she may have to head home early. After reading the forecast which is for temps in the 80s, I am wondering about setting up in the shaded area rather than the field this time. They say that is the 'quiet' part of the park, but it has always seemd like party central to us, and, actually, I am still in party mode! I'll see what the others think in the morning.
Mandy and Joe will try to get their friend with the huge flatbed truck to haul their tractor home for them today, a sthey both need to get back there and get ready for school.....Mandy to teach, and Joe to work more on his engineering degree.
After this last scheduled event for the summer, I will need to get down to the real business of staining my house, sorting through 'stuff',' calling an alarm system company like ADT to see how much they will charge me to install a unit for me here, and possibly for the FL house, as well. That way I can be away from both places with fewer worries.
The sun is coming out, it's already 73 degrees here, and I need to get my body in action. Coffee is hot, so stop by and let us know what's going on in your world. Later, y'all!
