MONDAY WITH POSSIBLE SHOWERS

GOOD MORNING ALL!
This is the week of the Ruckus in the Mountains, and the sky is heavy, greyish, and the temperature is a good deal warmer. Scattered rain showers are predicted for this afternoon. Actually, rain is predicted for the first three days this week, so let's hope things get better as the days march on. No matter what the weather brings, however, there is my huge shelter here for all of us to sit under. We can even carry the screen rooms into the shelter, should the evenings become mosquitoey.
Today I have a doc appointment at noon to have a skin lesion cut off, will then go across the street to do some last minute grocery shopping, and back here I will come to greet whomever might show up early. I got an email from Richard the Roofer yesterday, and he is the only one, as far as I know, who might show today.
It sounds as if my plan for some cold meats and tuna/noodle salad will be the menu for the arrival days, so that anyone can eat whenever hunger strikes, and we won't have to plan for a sit-down meal-as-we-cook it. I will also have some recipe ready to go, maybe some jello shots, plenty of coffee and cocoa. Whatever evolves from there remains to be seen! The lawn is all mowed, the limbs all trimmed from the trees on the driveway in, and the wire-lifter pole will be in place for those with big rigs. Let the games begin!
Joe will be brush-hogging trails today, and cutting down dead trees. Mandy will be returning to her place for the day, but will be back here tonight. There are still many brushy trees I need to take down later, along with those stumps I didn't have the time to cut back yesterday. I may do that this morning before I take a bath and head to the doc's.
I hope you all are having a fun day wherever you are. If you are within shooting distance of the Ruckus, come on over and join us!
I will try to keep up with pictures as the days go on. News just said there is a thunderstorm between us and the neighboring town....ACK! Maybe it will stay south of us as they have been doing this summer.
Off I go---things to do! Happy Monday!
