FALL-LIKE TUESDAY

GOOD MORNING TO US ALL!
Dang it's chilly here this morning----46 degrees when I woke up! Molly was reluctant to get outta bed and get her feet wet in the dewy grass. But the sky is cloudless, and it's supposed to warm up and be like summer again. I don't like that the days are noticeably shorter now already, but I suppose that "the universe is unfolding as it should,"----a little nugget from Desiderata which is one of my most favorite pieces of writing. I really need to try to get that transfered from my 33 record today to my MP3 player so I can play it through my radio here for the Ruckus.
Today I will call my RV dealer to see if my electrical box thing is supposed to arrive there, or not. If not, I will plan to visit Cedar and Kathy at their 'home away from home' tomorrow anyway. I think I now have it in my mind how to get there. The problem with programming my Tom Tom here is that it can't always find the satellites necessary for it to work right here on the property. I usually have to go to the corner of my road to get it to kick in. But I will also give a try to see if it can find the route I now have plotted in my head.
I have a few more things to take down to the pond to the leanto, and a few more things to carry out to the shelter up here for the upcoming Ruckus. Each time I go past my woodpile to go to the house, I am taking one firewood log for the cold fall nights I know I will
experience before I head to the warm southern climes for the winter....so my woodpile is getting restocked inside with no sweat!
Soon I should be able to see some money deposited into my checking account from NY State Teachers' Retirement System. I am also expecting a lump sum of my incentive ("get rid of the old geezer") money by the last day of July, too. That will give me a little backup for whatever. I am having them withold income taxes from that even before I get it.
I hope my son and his wife-to-be have been able to get their plane tickets home for this upcoming weekend so they can be in the wedding of one of Weldon's best friends as planned. They have been holding out for a last minute drop in prices, and they are usually lucky by doing it this way. Our local ariport has fantastic non-stop flights, 2.5 hours, from their FL airport to ours, sometimes for prices as low as 29.99 each way! I can barely drive to the airport for that price!
Ok...time to get moving here, get one more cup of coffee, and finish vacuuming inside. I got the upstairs done yesterday, after finding and going through some ancient photos of years gone by! A little distraction when I discovered those! Stop by and tell us about your day!
