FRIDAY ALREADY??

GOOD MORNING ALL!
It's overcast and about 70 degrees here so far today----perfect weather! Molly is out watching rabbits (way too tame for their own good as they come up very close here in the yard) with her zapper collar on and her wireless zapper fence transmitter activated. She is terrified of getting the slight shock I have her collar set for, so we shall see ho wlong she can resist chasing after the bunnies! I have to keep a close lookout for deer, however, as I KNOW she couldn't resist chasing them!
All is working well with my new electrical hookup, the one in the house I rigged up yesterday. I haven't needed my AC since I've been home, and I almost never use that anyway. It has to be triple digits before I turn that baby on! I am one who always wears fleece jackets in those air conditioned stores I enter.
Today I will work on the leanto, after I mow some grass here. The wild growth spurts of the spring have slowed down a bit, I am noticing, so mowing sessions can be farther apart. If that cold front and storms arrive that they are predicting, I will head to town to return my useless (to me) 20 amp extension cord, go to the bank, and pick up a few groceries. Other than that.....where on earth is July going????? How can it be the middle of the month already? Retirement just makes the time go by even faster, it seems.
BP's news this morning is more optimistic than usual----I sure hope they can completely seal that dang thing off.
Earthquake in DC today---rare for that place. The one we had here a short time ago may be responsible for a water leak in a local town's water system, so those people have been without water for a while now. That would suck in this heat. Although, we have enough streams and lakes to lug water home for both drinking, after boiling, and bathing and washing. Just a bit more work involved.
It sounds as if many are having a fun summer with grandkids...sure do wish I had some to camp with me!
Time to get moving here, check email and more. Coffee is hot, so stop by and check in with us!
